Catherine Place

West City isn’t necessarily the kind of place I’d recommend. The mall is just another Westfield mall, the shops outside the mall are all pretty cheap and crappy, and the people are sometimes a little dubious. However, recently I was out that way and was waiting for a friend and found myself sitting in Catherine Place. A little square located outside one of the entrances to the Westfied, Catherine Place is one of the only things in West City I like.
A pretty average concreted area, Catherine Place wouldn’t much appeal to me either, except I love the artwork on the transformer box. The box has been painted to resemble a rainforest and a great multi-​coloured parrot is the central focus. The artwork caught my eye and made the whole situation worthwhile.
If you’re ever in West City, this brightly painted transformer box will make everything alright — find it!
