No, this is not like the 80s song ‘Final Countdown’, but perhaps they’ll play it in store one fine day. This is in fact, a supermarket. It’s huge, filled with aisles of groceries, stationery, magazines, alcohol, etc. They even have an international food section, which is not to be sneezed at. It may save you a trip to Tai Ping or Inside Africa. The thing that keeps me coming back to this particular Countdown(which is further away than others) is because they offer 10 — 30c a litre off fuel if you spend a certain amount. It’s not the usual fair for other Countdowns which offer only 4c. Also, it has more variety and many staff available within a small radius to help you find something. It has an incredibly handy underground carpark which is never full(unless it’s Christmas time) and a conveniently located bakery, pharmacy, shampoo store and Video Ezy to help you cram as much into one trip as possible.
