Everglade Takeaways

Everglad is our local chippy and as mentioned previously by Mandy, does fantastic Chinese food. They’re always very efficient and friendly. Their potatoe fritters are best in town, really really crispy, we’ll done and thanks Everglad.

Everglade Takeaways is the best Chinese takeaway shop in Manukau by miles. They do hot chips and all that jazz but what really shines is their Chinese food– I can only describe it as perfect really. It’s great value for money and its quality food. Their combination fried rice is legendary and their sweet and sour pork is the best out. On top of all of that, their egg fu yong is absolutely delicious– just enough veges and the egg is cooked to perfection. They also do noodles boxes as part of their wide range of food available. The staff work hard here, I’ve seen them go through orders like a well-​oiled machine while waiting for mine! My orders have always been so consistent and I’ve never had any complaints about the food. It’s a very popular haunt in my family and for good reason. Not much else you can ask for from your local takeaway shop, and this one delivers. Take my advice and keep a copy of their menu at home; so much easier to phone order than wait in the inevitable long line this place has on Friday nights!
