For years my family frequented this Life Pharmacy, and it was going very well. They always remembered our names, prescriptions and gave us rewards for our long term commitment. I also bought my Elizabeth Arden make up here, and the saleslady was absolutely magnificent. Then they decided to pull Elizabeth Arden make up. This is not the end of the world, but another saleswoman claimed EA was pulling out of NZ completely. I’m not sure if this was ignorance, or a cold hard lie, but I walked into Manukau Life Pharmacy, and they said they had no intention of stopping EA and it was thriving. As you can see, it’s still all over NZ. Another time I tried getting a face cream without parabens in it — it’s not a common ingredient I expect people on the street to know about, but for ladies selling cream, it’s a must to know a common preservative that can contribute to skin problems, irritations and has been linked to breast cancer. Only one person knew about it. ONE. I won’t buy any skin or make up products from here now. My advice to this sales team is better knowledge of your products goes a long way. For the prescriptions team: great job!
