I wouldn’t say that it is a stockist of premium Japanese goods, but i would say that it is cut above the crappy Japan Marts you see about the place. Made in Nippon sells a lot of traditional Japanese things, almost as if it were a tourist shop in Japan. If you have any interest in Japanese culture, I would recommend that you check this place out, maybe grab yourself a kimono or some Japanese crockery. This store offers an opportunity to really get enthusiastic about Japan if you were so inclined. Maybe get some Japanese decorations for your house, learn to fold Origami, maybe even learn what Nippon means.

Yes! Japanese stuff! Man, I am coming off as a really psycho guy on this by going super crazy for anything that’s remotely Japanese. And I definitely am a total psycho in that way. But that’s okay I’m kind of okay with this. And so now I’ll wax poetic on Made In Nippon.
Oh man. I love this shop. My dream is to save up $ 40 and buy one of the t shirts which has a print of an old ass Japanese print of an geisha or a boat or something on it. They’re definitely over-priced, but that’s fine. I don’t care. And those t shirts aren’t representative of all the other crap in the shop is very very reasonably priced. THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE! THEY SELL SECOND HAND KIMONOS!

Made in Nippon is a different experience than lower-priced shops selling Japanese stuff. It’s a quiet shop and is filled with more traditional, but still reasonably-priced imported items.
It stocks a lot of food products — pretty much everything you need for recreating classic Japanese dishes, including a range of cooking accessories to go along with it, Japanese lunchboxes, and even those slicers to make fiddly shapes from vegetables.
It’s also a go-to place when you need authentic Japanese products that can be hard to find elsewhere: clothing (kimono, obi, and yukata), calligraphy supplies, decorative items like lanterns and parasols, and kinpu (money envelopes).

Made In Nippon is one of those specialty places where you can get all things japanese. So foodstuff like the usual — all different soy sauces and the unusual like unique Japanese alcohol, to products like traditional kimono wear. It’s a really cool place to take a little look into. If you are into japanese cuisine this is the place to go to for all necessary ingredients. If you are a fan of japanese culture or just curious it is definitely worth a visit. They also do online shopping from their website which is handy.
