Took our kids here for one of their birthdays and they had an absolute blast! Affordable fun for 7+ year old kids. My 15 month old daughter especially enjoyed watching from the observation deck. Will be back often!

Once upon a 21st birthday party, I went here to play my first game of laser strike. The birthday guy had reserved the place for a few hours at a flat rate late at night. It was honestly the most fun I’d had in ages. Sneaking around in the dark, dodging bullets, blowing up stations, holding the fort, getting shot without feeling any pain(except humiliation, because you could’ve gotten away a split second ago). Unfortunately, I didn’t have the foresight to wear black, and was an easy target as my white top reflected all to obviously under the neon lights! Ooops! Learn from my mistake, and take your camouflage gear!

I used to love laser strike as a kid. All the excitement of being a sneaky soldier and shooting your friends in the back without the pain of being shot with a paintball. Brilliant! I’ve been to the Panmure Megazone a few times over the years, and it’s alright. It is quite small inside and it can get a bit boring after you’ve explored the entire area. In spite of this, I’ve always had a good time here. Actually it’s the only laser strike place I know that is still open for business. There are a few things that this place does very well. The scoring system is cool, and the printout you receive at the end shows you your overall stats, complete with accuracy percentage and which parts of the body you hit/hit you. If you’ve got a spare afternoon, gather a few mates together and shoot each other.

I’ve made a few visits to Megazone in the last few years, and it never fails to entertain. Be a relatively active and competitive person, laser strike really fits the mould of something really fun to do with friends that doesn’t involve the usual dinner and drinks formula. At 15 minutes a round, its an action-packed adrenalin rush. And whats better is that its suitable for kids and adults, making it great option for a family day out. Very close to Sylvia Park, its an ideal location and easy to find for out-of-towners. Be sure to go for three or four rounds when you’re there– 15 minutes can pass by quickly and after seeing your results against everyone else’s, you may want to top your personal best! Reservations are an advantage, but the Megazone team always try to accommodate for everyone.
