Specialties

Vaniye is a Contemporary luxury Parisian style Patisserie in Parnell. We’re passionate about the refined art of delicate desserts, bringing you a new sensory experience starting from visual presentation through to the intense aromas and flavours from our quality ingredients. Complimentary to our fine desserts, we serve organic Kokako coffee, Harney&Sons tea, and our home made Valrhona hot chocolate. We welcome you to our boutique where our hôte/hôtesse will personally guide you through our many culinary delights. Vaniye is the sweet side of fine dining.

History

Established in 2012.

We started VANIYE in mid-2009 through producing our specialties in Onehunga Community Centre and selling them in Framers Markets around Auckland.

We found our current location at the end of 2011, and after months of refurbishment starting from scratch, we opened our boutique the 24th April 2012 (which is also Sonia’s birthday).

We are very pleased to have found this secret location which is a destination place for many of our clients who live fairway from Parnell. Thank you for coming.

Meet the Business Owner

Sonia and Laurent H.

Business Owner

Sonia is the artistic muse behind all our innovative creations. A real food adventurist with never-ending curiosity who likes to push boundaries and challenges conventions. Sonia discovered the patisserie in France and has been trained at Le Cordon Bleu — Paris. Then she worked in local Parisian patisserie, Laurent Michelin star restaurant on Champs-Élysées, and luxurious hotel Park Hyatt Vendôme.

Laurent has the privilege to be Vaniyé’s official taster. A true critique with a delicate nose, Laurent is connoisseur of fine products who loves to try everything, but rather difficult to please. You can come across Laurent early morning in the shop when he is producing our baguettes before running to his Corporate job in Auckland city centre.
