Skin Surgery Clinic

Within the Blockhouse Bay doctor surgery, Glenavon is another business which is doing great work to prevent skin cancer, which is actually the most common form of skin cancer for us Kiwi’s. So listen up everybody:
The Skin Surgery Clinic offers free skin cancer checks all year around!
It is run by Dr Sharad P. Paul, who is one of New Zealand’s leading surgeons in this field and he teaches at the University. Together with his team, he will do a no obligation specific lesion or whole body exam to help detect and then diagnose skin cancers early.
This clinic can do a simple mole removal or if the skin cancer is more invasive they have the technology to do reconstructive work post operation.

Made an appointment here, and although it took over a month before I could make an appointment there (They’re VERY busy apparently), when I got to their little office on Blockhouse Bay road it was quiet, professional, and the reception lady was very nice to me.
After a brief wait, I went in to see the doctor my appointment was with, and to my surprise, as soon as I described my ailment, he very quickly knew just what I was talking about.
He had a quick look and advised there was no issue, and explained what I should do if it showed up again, and then that was it! All my nerves were gone and I knew what I as dealing with now, and in and out within 10 minutes!
It was great to be able to come in and get out without having to waste a whole afternoon sitting in a waiting room like some other clinics.
