I’ve never played a full round of golf and to be quite honest I always thought it was a pretty boring game. I know, I know — don’t knock something until you’ve tried it. Well just the other day, I came acros the SNAG team — SNAG, not to be confused with ‘swag’, stands for Starting New At Golf. They have special equipment to make learning golf easier, including oversized clubs, different balls and targets and a bullseye to aim at. The main instructor Todd, gave some good tips and because I didn’t follow them first up, I did the old swing and miss. I managed to stay composed(and go to my happy place), and on my next turn I managed to hit the ball. It starts to get extra fun when someone puts on the velcro suit(complete with a target) for you to aim at! SNAG is perfect for childrens birthday parties, corporate events(try and hit the boss, fun for all right) and schools. Catch them around Auckland or make contact with them today.
