This place is great. It’s an Indian sweets and snacks place. I haven’t ever had a full-on meal here, but they do serve them and my flatmate says the paneer dishes are pretty good. I usually get samosas or sweets. My fave sweet is the kesar ladoo. They’re these orange ball things made out of chick pea flour, milk, and saffron, which, I realize, sounds a bit strange. They are quite delicious, though. Xotic Sweets & Snacks is conveniently located next to Xotic laundromat. One of my favorite things to do when it’s rainy out is take my laundry to the laundromat and sit next door snacking and getting a bit of work done.(There isn’t any wi-fi, just FYI.) I really like this place, but I really wish they had nice coffee. They have some sort of strange-looking coffee machine that seems to just involve pressing some buttons, but I’m not up for trying that. I would really love to have a nice flat white after my samosa. The ladies who work here(I say ‘ladies’ because I have yet to see a man working there) are all really nice. My flatmate and I knew nothing about Indian sweets when we first started going and the ladies always very patiently answer our questions.
