Haru no Yume

This place was awesome! The service was excellent, the food choices were fantastic, and everything was so fresh! The steamed eggs were an unanticipated delicious treat. I had to cut myself off. The tuna and salmon sashimi was delicious! It is buffet style and I highly recommend it for any fans of Japanese food.

Craving a shabu-​shabu or do you fancy a sashimi buffet? Well look no further because this place has both on offer.
The staff were really friendly the first time we came here and asked if we’ve been before as we sat down, probably cause we looked confused with the shabu shabu pot (our understanding coming in was that this was a buffet).
So this is how it works: we get served a few to-​share platters first (sashimi, karaage chicken and beef tataki) and each new dish gets brought out to you as they collect your last dish. Once your table is finished with these, they bring out a plate of raw beef slices and you can start your shabu-​shabu! The rest of the shabu-​shabu ingredients are in a self serve style/​station on one of the tables which carries vegetables, tempura and noodles etc. — kinda like your hot pot ingredients. On the other table, there is the other part of the buffet which are the ready-​to-​eat item such as more sashimi (yey!), salads, ebi prawns, takoyaki, edamame, renkon chips etc… oh and my favorite, the fire ball salmon. Once you have sufficiently stuffed your face in, there is also a small collection of dessert and a soft serve machine… yep, all you can eat ice cream too if you made it this far.
The service is excellent and the sashimi platter is refilled pretty fast since that is the first thing most tables go straight for once we ate the delivered plate. The other hot food are filled constantly and you can tell which are the popular items in this place. The staff are also really efficient at clearing our dirty dishes away.
I highly recommend this place and think it’s value for money as any fans of sashimi know that if you are ordering individual sashimi dishes, they start adding up pretty quickly. However do remember to book as they fill up fast!
