Rema 1000

Rema 1000 at Amfi Madla just got a new makeover and it really worked! The store looks cleaner, bigger and more organized. This, together with the fact that I recently discovered what they offer on a more detailed level, makes me think I’ll buy food here more often from now on.
Big minus:
Always big queues at the cash register.
usually I don’t see the point of writing reviews on normal grocery stores because people tend to choose the one nearest to home anyways.
…but what if they offer something special? Or something that is hard to find other places. I will probably keep adding to this review but here we go:

* SUSHI: the last year a bunch of grocery stores started selling sushi packs. I’ve tried several of these as they are great for a fast meal and are better of price than the similar packs you can buy as takeaway from the restaurants. «Fersk Sushi» is by far my favorite for one simple reason. It’s fresh! Made the same day they sell it, as it should be. No more dry rice for this girl. They offer sushi packs in several sizes ⁶⁄₈ /​12 pieces and they even offer gluten free! So happy about this. The pack of 12 cost 119kr.
* BEER: Rema1000 offers a wider range of beers than my local store does and that’s a big plus. Sometimes you want something else than Tuborg…
They have a lot of different beers from Lervig and Grans as well as Ringnes, Carlsberg, Corona and so on.
