C’est l’endroit idéal pour manger tout au long de la journée. Nous l’avons (malheureusement) découvert le dernier jour de notre voyage, lors d’un brunch improvisé. Très bien placé, le Bunkier café nous offre une belle vue et un cadre atypique dans sa grande verrière. Installez vous confortablement et régalez vos papilles de leurs délicieux petits déjeuners (Je vous recommande leurs pancakes aux fruits et leur chocolat chaud aux amandes!), de leurs formules du midi apetissantes (les jolies planches que j’ai vues défiler m’ont donné l’eau à la bouche) ou encore, profitez de l’ambiance feutrée du lieu lors d’un dîner.

Parfait endroit pour prendre un petit déjeuner/​brunch ou même juste un café.
L’endroit est atypique sous cette grande serre.
L’atmosphère est détendue et le service agréable.
Niveau prix, c’est imbattable, surtout venant de France.
À essayer au moins une fois durant votre séjour à Cracovie !

Winter or summer, day or night — this is a great place to sit and while away the time. There are always people here but never so many that you have to wait for a table. Extensive drink menu (not necessarily alcoholic) and a limited but very good food menu. The prices are extremely reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends. My go to place for a beer during the summer in Kraków.

It reminded me times when places in Krakow had that type of atmo.
Obviously every year I have visited for World Press Photo Bunkier and coffee straight after.
Now adjacent place, covering part of Planty and divided for smoking and no-​smoking area is so charming in the evening.
It is perfect for glass of wine, is spacious and with the view… I would love to seat at the table by the window watching rain drops falling down.
Is really busy in there.
And something I could not resist — blue Lucky Strike signage– my God at my High School times and during Uni years in every place in Krakow– almost :). Love it!

A good place to read, write, talk or drink. There’s a healthy bustle most of the time which sometimes reaches a comfortable din. Plastic sheeting protects you from the elements in colder weather (it looks out on the little strip of park which circles the old town) so you can always peer at interesting passersby and their ornate dogs. Lit candles appear on the tables at night. They have a smoking section, where the people-​watching is slightly better. I always get the peculiar impression that I am the only person here who is not actively planning a film festival. If you are someone who seeks validation (or acknowledgement) from waiters, the place might frustrate you. But overall it’s a real joy. Have sumptuously viscous hot chocolate with rose syrup (or better yet rum) added. Or a hummus plate, or an espresso over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Worst service in Kraków. Enduring it is the price you have to pay to sit at one of the nicest spot in town. In the afternoon it’s not too bad. Once it gets dark and the place fills up, the service level drops like a stone. One is well-​advised to order the next drink when the present one is half gone, since you won’t know when you’ll catch the attention of your waiter/​waitress again.

Great cool, trendy, alternative place for hang out. Nice breakfast/​brunch, love the «old style», industrial interior. Choose between eating, drinking or just having a cappuccino. Visit!

I’m not entirely sure I like this place. It’s a little bit too popular for its own good. The seats were uncomfortable. The sound of rain on the roof was pretty reminded me of camping in Cornwall when I was a youngster. This, along with the sound of the numerous people there made it difficult to hold a conversation.
On the plus side. Wine is reasonably priced. When you order a bottle of wine you get a plateful of little snacks (bread and humus and that sort of thing). Cider is available. Prices are what you would expect from an establishment in the centre of Kraków.

Great place to visit all year around. With plastic curtains (movable) instead of walls, you can enjoy fresh air during the summer, and great views on rest of the seasons. Extremely nice and busy environment. Cosy atmosphere, huge selection of teas! Good food with reasonable prices, although I recommend it more for drinks and meeting friends!

Bunkier café is situated on the North West side of Krakow just outside the city walls. The café/​restaurant i located on the «Plankty». The Plankty is a green area around the city walls where one can relax, sit, walk, run. Great the architects provided such space for the inhabitants of the city.
The café is vested in some kind of greenhouse, with lots of light inside. In summer one can sit outside and enjoy the «fresh air» of Krakow. Hope that will be improved over time because currently Krakow is one of the most polluted cities in Europe :(
So maybe better to stay inside than.
We had breakfast here twice and both food and service were fine. Will be regular visitor to the Bunkier

Cozy café/​pub/​meeting point with plastic sheets for walls! This might sound cold for the winter time but amazingly even sitting by the wall it doesnt get very cold at all (I can imagine the electricity bills for this place!) Great place for intimate meetings or larger groups. Large selection of alcohol-​free drinks with some that taste amazing! They also serve coffee, alcoholic drinks and have a smoking and nonsmoking section for all tastes! Located facing planty you get a nice view and good chance to run into people you know!
