Not far away from the main market square this square(well more of a rectangle) has a completely different character. In the summer it’s a nice place to stop for a while on the way to somewhere else. Quite often it plays host to various themed markets. Invariably the markets all take the same format. A covered stage is erected at one end and various traditional music performers/dancers will do their thing. The rest of the square then usually has various stools selling local produce(such as cheeses or pieorogi) as well as hot food to eat and and cold beer. The Carrefour Express on Sienna is definitely worth a visit for what is quite possibly the best selection of ciders in the whole of Kraków :)
