First we walked in and it is a very nice comfortable setting. They let us sit wherever we wanted. Cushion seats we picked of course. Ordered frozen margaritas strawberry and pineapple they were way to sour but looked very tasty. Next time I go I will ask for less lime. The grande nachos was very delicious and the guacamole. Those two dishes were the best. We went on taco Tuesday and the tacos were not that great. I would order again. The soft shell isn’t the best and wasn’t authentic Mexican tacos. But it was a great place to go for nachos!

First I want to start off with that this place have the best spare ribs I have tasted in a long, long time. They were so amazing and the sauce was unbelieveable tasty. My taste buds flooded and I longed for more when I was done. And yes, I almost licked the bowl. This is a mexican resturant with a resturant section and a bar section. We decided to eat in the bar and grab a couple of drinks. Little did we know what Poland was playing a football match this very evening, and as with most bars in Krakow, there was a tv. I dont like tvs in pubs/bars, but thats me. But it cut our visit a bit short to be honest. As you know I ordered the spare ribs, and they were soo good. I also ordered quesadilla with pork and pineapple, but that was a big let down from the spare ribs. I dont understand how the spare ribs could be so tasty and the quesedilla so bland. And by the way, the pineapple was canned, not even fresh, that was a big let down. Lets just say that I did not finish that one. My better half ordered some fajitas and he wanted them spicy and got spicy. I think I would have been more happy if the following was not in play: — no tv. — I should not have ordered the quesadilla. — service was ok, but not top notch this evening. — maybe we should have choosen another place to sit. It has great reviews, maybe it would have been better if we sat in the restaurant section without the tv. I dont know cause we did not. Overall, the margaritas was good, my spare ribs(I cant tell you enough how good it was) was amazing and my better half got really spicy food as he wanted. And I love to watch him eat when its spicy…*evil laugh* But, you should try for yourself, I guess they have good reviews for a reason, but just stay clear from the pork/pineapple quesadilla.

In Kraków, this is as good as it gets! I have yet to find a place I enjoy more than this place. You could say I´m starting to become a regular at this place, — THAT is how great this place is. They should have a theme song, filled with words as delicious as their Nachos Grande, or the Manzana platter. No words can describe the feeling I get when I come to this place every friday, to enjoy a few coronas in what I consider so far to be Kraków´s best Tex Mex resturant. The food? You can´t call it food! It´s something the gods cooked up, wich makes it divine and tastefull! — Only downgrade is the prices, but they are worth it! Go there, and try it out for yourself ;)

Tex-Mex? Mexican? Not really. Manzana’s reminded me of an Americanized Mexican restaurant like Chevy’s with the interior of a date-night restaurant and bar. The food here was mediocre at best with prices that were frankly outrageous for the city. It was nicer than many other restaurants, but for that fancier décor and menu items, you’re sacrificing food quality. Would I come here again? Maybe. Would I seek it out if I was back in Kraków? Probably not. The city center has plenty of other options that are better, cheaper and not like what you can find back home!

Definitely the best mexican food in Krakow. It’s not the cheapest place but the food is substantial and authentic. There are 2 sections, 1 side is a bar(where you can eat as well), the other side is the restaurant which is more appropriate for coming with kids. I have dropped a star because I love fajitas to be served with salsa, guacamole and sour cream and the fajitas here are served with salsa, rice(totally unnecessary) and refried beans. I also have a big quandary as the nachos here are fantastic but there is no way that I can eat the nachos and a main course, so usually disappointed at the lack of nachos. In the bar there are often cocktail deals during the week which are good value but unfortunately the choice is much more focused on cocktails for women(already burned by the embarrassment of a big pink girly drink sitting in front of me).

Manzana is known as the best Tex-Mex restaurant in Kraków. It’s a reputation that’s well-deserved. It’s one of the few places in the city where you can get genuinely spicy food. «Ostry» here tends to stay within the threshold of a typical North American’s tolerance. Ask for the diabol sauce though, they’ll have you dancing around begging for milk in no time. Manzana is very a popular place. Showing up without a reservation is a bad idea, especially on a weekend.

Great Mexican food, very surprising and high praise coming from someone from Chicago. I had the fajitas, which were well cooked and very well proportioned. Mojitos were so fantastic, I had to have two!

The chef is from DF(Mexico City) and the setting is Krakow, Poland so the food is a delicious mélange of both; fresh ingredients, authentic tastes of mole and guacamole — but not the same thing as tex-mex food; and why should it be, you’re in eastern Europe. Still, for a commendable alcohol list with a wonderful selection of rums and tequilas, it’s quite the nice bang for your buck when you’re ready to seek out a quesadilla and put the pierogi down. When I return, I’ll definitely go back.

As a Texan traveling frequently in Europe I tend to avoid the local versions of Tex-Mex. Let’s face it — no matter what the cuisine, it’s never as good as its home base. Imagine my surprise when a friend talked me into trying the«Best Tex-Mex in Krakow» and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. While there were a few things that were ever so slightly off(salsa so mild as to be compared to chopped tomatoes), they do a great job in general. I ordered the Volcano with beef — a hot pot of meat and veggies in a rich tomato based sauce. When asked about level of spice I told them«very spicy» which caused the waitress to say«are you sure?»… The dish was excellent with a very nice level of spice. Hot without being distracting and lots of nice flavors. Served with corn tortillas that were a bit stale(minor issue at best) I found the dish to be enjoyable and filling. Service was nice and pleasant — engaged but not overbearing. Décor also nice. If you’re looking for an interesting place for a change of pace while in Krakow — give Manzana a try.

Manzana’s owner originates from Mexico. He is leading the team in the kitchen where he is supported by a team of 4. This is visible from the restaurant as they work in open kitchen environment. Selected a simple starter tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole. Nice was that besides regular tortilla chips they bake their own which are slightly larger and produced from flour. tortilla fried in oil. The salsa was not very spicy and the chef told me it is adapted to the Polish taste. Tabasco on the table so i modified it to my likings. Guacamole was perfect. For main dish we had a Mexican plate, spare ribs. All dishes were prepared well with fresh ingredients and were very tasty. The ribs were without the additional fat, that i have observed to be present on ribs in other restaurants. We finished the dinner with a «Mexican» coffee, Kahlua and Tequilla — my favorite mix — and was well prepared. Yes, I am a fan of Manzana !

Something you do not anticipate to find in Poland is great Mexican food — but here it is! The décor is classy modern, with some Mexican detail, without going over the top. The bar is the star of the room, black and gold platted with soft ambiance lighting. Amazing selection of top shelf liquor(tequila as well as whisky) — you will be impressed. This is one of those rare occasions when food and drinks are both excellent and worth coming back for. I was there on Wednesday and they had taco special. We had beef and shrimp tacos, guacamole and quesadilla, all complimented by perfect margaritas. I wish there was a branch in Warsaw, I would be a regular.

Hands down the best tex/mex restaurant in Krakow, in Texas this would be considered an upscale(tex/)mex place with food to match but priced reasonable. Amazing atmosphere, amazing service, amazing food and gluten friendly, a taste of home away from home for all the southern bells! Cant miss it if you’re in Krakow!

Fabulous service, and I have loved everything I’ve had there! Great margaritas, too. If you’re American, ask for your food to be spicy — Polish people have a more delicate palate for spice :) Best of all — they have a GLUTENFREEMENU! They are really educated about Celiac, and I’ve never had an issue eating there(I’m very sensitive to gluten). I can’t wait to return!
