One of the best food when it comes to delivery. They have a really good butter chicken and mutton samosa with dates radish. Good weekly rotation of the menu. It’s better to go with a friend or two :) this way the lunch menu goes from 17 to 15.5 and then to 14.5. So more the merrier!

Indian is one of my most favorite types of cuisine so I gladly took part in the Unilocal outing at RotiRoti. Overall, I would describe the food as average. I suppose one could increase the score a bit considering the fact that ethnic /exotic cuisine is rather hard to find in Poland, i.e., there’s not much to choose from. I tried butter paneer masala and butter chicken — the last one being one of the most popular Indian dishes, which made it an ideal choice to see how RotiRoti performs. The dish was pretty decent with quite moist chunks of what looked like chicken breast meat covered in the classic sauce. The sauce had a bit too much of a tomato paste(as opposed to tomato) like flavor and was perhaps a bit too sweet — still not bad. The basmati rice was very good. Roti bread could have been a little bit less dry but I’m nitpicking now :-) — would definitely order it again. Another small complaint — the main dish and the rice were served in separate, quite small bowls which made it rather difficult to eat them together. I would rather have a larger plate where I can place them together. The service, although nice and friendly was Polish standard and that particular evening was rather slow but considering the size of our group(~20 people) I somewhat expected that so I wouldn’t take away any points here. The prices were quite average for the area and the décor somewhat bland but nothing to complain about. So — if you’re in the area and are craving some Indian food — it may be worth stopping by but probably you won’t be knocked off your feet.

This was my third visit to RotiRoti. The food is very good, but the place does have a few faults(more of that later). I ordered Achari chicken with rice and rotis(Indian flatbread). Service was slow. An hour is too long to wait. Admittedly there was a big group of us(we’d booked a table for ten people but nearly 20 of us showed up). It took about an hour for our food to arrive. My drink(which took nearly half an hour to arrive) had almost gone by the time the food arrive and I really could have done with something to soak up the alcohol. The chicken meat was grilled(on a skewer) served with a nice mango and mustard sauce. The rotis aren’t really to my taste, they are too healthy I feel, next time I’ll order another side. After we’d eaten the waitresses didn’t make their presence felt for 15 minutes or so. I would have ordered some dessert if they’d shown up(or even lassi if they hadn’t run out of it). They could have done with clearing the empty plates too. It’s not like the restaurant had loads of other diners apart from us. I would recommend visiting the restaurant at lunchtime as their lunch sets provide better value.

Quite good curry and a nice range of dishes. Happily a bit cheaper than a lot of the Indian available in Poland, particularly if you head for the 17zloty lunch special :) Food is generally mild but they will dial up the spice if you ask!
