Unimpressed. Trufla is one of these older establishments in Krakow that have failed to keep up with the rapidly improving restaurant scene. In nearly every aspect it’s outclassed by recent arrivals: interior decoration, service level, menu selection, presentation, quality of food, even music (Radio Złote Przeboje, seriously?). A few years back the place might be considered outstanding. Nowadays, I’d grade it mediocre.
The only notable asset that Trufla brings to the table is its garden. It’s sort of unique and atmospheric. When the weather is nice and you’re really keen on dining outdoor (and off the street), there’re few better places in the Old Town.

We were excited eating there because it was recommended by different persons.
But reality wasn’t as good as the stories we were told.
We sat in a conservatory out of glass and it started raining. After a few minutes the water come from the roof and all the tables became wet… After ten more minutes (it was getting quiet cold) we were asked to come inside and eat there.
It was warmer there and the service was okay.
The starter, a plate for two with a great selection, was not really good. The cheese was already melting and the rocket wasn’t looking and tasting fresh.
Main menu, salmon with spinach and a honey-​lime sauce, could be better, too. The fish was really delicious but the spinach was lukewarm, nearly cold.
Finally, I would NOT recommend this place.

Nice and cozy little restaurant at a great location. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was nice and helpful, but somewhat slow. Definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone wanting delicious food in Krakow

Trufla is a small cosy restaurant with modern black & white interior. Food is fresh, tasty and prepared in an open kitchen. Whilst preparing the food some foggy environment is created and fumes are well noticeable in the restaurant. Waiter opened the window to get some fresh air inside. Would not go here again.
