One evening in Bombaj!

Another nice evening with Unilocalers ! I don’t know Indian food very well but fortunately Arun was here and ready to explain every dish of the menu. I really appreciated it and I learnt that more than one bindi on your face meant you are getting married… And I had 7… And I’m not event married, yet ! Bummer !
I really liked this restaurant, it was very cosy and prices were really ok, especially because I had a lot to eat. I liked that we were sharing food on the table so I could taste many different dishes !
Also, special thanks to my table companions, because without them this dinner wouldn’t be the same ! Thank you all !

Had a great time with awesome people having amazing food. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Arun!

Thanks Arun for this great evening! I love indian food and it was a real pleasure to enjoy it with all the Unilocalers under your supervision. I like the fact that so many people came and you encouraged us to order different stuff and then share it. I think everyone had fun. It was also cool that we could talk about the stuff that Indians like the most — cricket, Bollywood, food and AGE OF EMPIRES 2.
I already knew that Bombaj Masala is a nice restaurant and now I know it for sure. Food was great and the company — even better. Good the next event is so soon.
One last thing: Arun, you have my great respect for knowing everyting about AOE2 but be aware that I will change this review to one-​star if you really gonna trash me in Arabia.

Great atmosphere, nice people, and really close to the city center, can u ask for more? :)

A very pleasant evening indeed, and an incredibly gracious host. Arun really made an effort to ensure we were all enjoying ourselves, knew what we were eating, etcetera. A true ambassador for his country and it’s cuisine :)

Evening in Bombay Masala was absolutely great. Food in the place is fantastic, very tasty, aromatic — delicious (Mango Lassi, mmm ;)) Ok, Indian Food is my love, paneer, dal… I wanna thanks to Arun, for evening in Bombay Masala. You’ve chosen place where is the best Indian Food in Warsaw. Arun we want more :)

After yesterday, I really consider myself an indian food lover. Dinner was fantastic, tasty and spicy!!!

Another great meeting with Unilocalers. This time we were hosted by Arun who is the best of the best experts of Indian cuisine. I’ve tasted many dishes, all of them were delicious! I’m sorry, but I never remember the names of what I eat :) But I remember paneer in tomato sauce — my choice and it was my Nr 1 dish.
Thank you, Arun, for your explanations, for being so careful and lenient (I’m sorry I didn’t like to touch my food with fingers hahha :))
The restaurant is great, I felt very relaxed in its atmosphere. Food portions are giant and after my dinner I was wonderfully full up ;)

I wanna thank to Arun for great evening in Bombay Masala. You’ve chosen great place with very good Indian food, one of the best in Warsaw for sure.
Very Spicy angari tikki, mild and sweet paneer makhani, superb naan with garlic and very tasty mango lassi. So much fantastic food… I love Indian kitchen.
We have to get more Unilocaling in Indian restaurants. I and Sandra had awesome time, eating and talking with great people, and time was flowing so quick… We should continue this fantastic Indian adventure with Arun…

First of all — I love Unilocal outings almost as much as I love Unilocal events.
Yesterday’s outing was organized by our own expert on everything Indian — Arun and boy did you do it awesome!
Thank you for being so attentative, for telling us so many interesting things about the Indian kitchen and for trying to recommend a specific dish to everyone.
Secondly — Arun claims Bombaj Masala on the corner of Jana Pawla and Grzybowska is the most authentic Indian restaurant he’s visited and dined at here in Warsaw. I’m far from an expert, obviously, and since I had yet to visit Bombaj but love the Indian kitchen, I was so pumped to attend our outing.
I was just curious to see if Bombaj would measure up to my own two favorite Indian restaurants in Warsaw; Namaste and Mandala.
And the verdict? The food was good. Very, very good. A bit on the pricy side (both Namaste and Mandala are cheaper) but the taste was great, the quality was awesome and the atmosphere fantastic.
Thanks to Arun’s various recommendations, I was able to taste lemon chicken, chicken vindaloo, paneer in a flavorful tomato sauce, fried paneer with grilled vegetables and of course, my own choice of the day — mutton rogan josh with garlic naan.
The rogan josh was very good but could’ve used some more hotness. The price was 40 pln which I think it a tad too much. The garlic naan costed 12 pln which is a standard price for naan in Warsaw.
Oh and I almost forgot — the free starter was awesome. I don’t know what the bread we got is called but it was perfectly crispy and went awesomely well with the minty sauce that came along with it.
Overall this was a great and fun outing, thank you so much Arun! (and a big thank you-​hug to my company around the table!)

Food was awesome, I loved my mutton with garlic naan, so thanks Arun for the recommendation! It was a very good idea to pass on all of our dishes, so that everybody has a chance to have a taste of everything. Next time I think I’ll order something in lemon sauce, I loved Julita’s dish :)
I loved the atmosphere yesterday. It was so relaxing, authentic and nice. And I loved seeing both old and brand new faces.
