If you find yourself one day in the middle of Warsaw with no clear idea what to do with your evening and a heart full of unstoppable joy for singing there’s nothing else to do but come by to Senator. It’s a shabby, rusty-but-clean place with a lot of room for a nice chat with friends and a formidable Karaōke-Man-Machine-Hybrid — Mr. Ryszard. Senator is attended by a weird mix of guests: chavs, actor-wannabes, flamboyant old gay men and Russian speaking locals. The songlist available on Ryszard’s computer consists of the most beloved hits in several languages: English, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Love. The fine choice of songs is a result of Ryszard’s wanderlust life and his professional rock star career during which he visited the majority of the world’s best concert halls, including venues in Russia, Greece and last, but not least, Malta. The most recommended drink in this noble establishment is without any doubt«The Cherry Tsunami» — double WIśniówka on rocks, served with freshly cut lemons(not limes, NEVERORDERITWITHLIMESYOUIGNORANTPOSEURS). The house also offers exquisite bigos(hunter’s stew) served by the one and only(literally, only one person serves food and runs the karaōke machine while displaying his suprahuman guitar skills) Mr Ryszard. All important moments that a man can experience during his or hers life happen in Senator. You can fall in love, heal your broken heart, get drunk, pregnant or stabbed in the back with a kitchen knife by a Russian mobster on the gruesome stairs of Senator. Don’t hesitate, there’s only one Senator in the world, and it(praise the Lord!) happens to be in Warsaw.
