I’ve been to this location many many times because of where it’s situated. But to be honest it’s far not the best Starbucks in the city. Taking into the account it’s on the most popular street in Warsaw, the coffee shop is way too small. They’ve recently renovated it and added a table, so that helps a bit, but for thé amount of people that go there it would’ve been nice if there was another floor either upstairs or downstairs. I don’t know if they still work there, but there are some really rude and unprofessional baristas. If you mess up my drink — just apologise, don’t act out if I ask to change my order. I mean. how difficult it is to remember to add soy milk ?.. The friendliness of Starbucks isn’t present at this one.

In NYC I didn’t frequent Starbucks at lot. I’m a decaf drinker and there were so many places I could get my beloved iced coffee(seriously, I’m like that Nancy Botwin character from Weeds, always with an iced coffee in my hand) that there was never a need to go there. I preferred to go to independent mom and pop cafes rather than a chain. In Poland decaf is still hard to come by at small cafes and although I feel guilty because there are a lot fantastic cafes in my neighborhood I now understand the beauty of Starbucks. Here I can get my beloved iced coffee with lots of ice and I know it will be decaf. The staff at this location is fantastic! They know my order by heart!
