I got a strong recommendation from the bartender of the Granary boutique hotel that the Butchery and Grill was the place to go on Wroclaw’s square for an excellent steak. Once again, my faith in bartenders as a source of sound recommendations was restored. The Butchery was hidden deep in an alley between century old buildings and was a bit hard to find. Once a business associate and I located the place, we were courteously escorted to one of 4 tables under an awning. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare with a baked potato while Pete A grabbed the house ribeye with an order of sautéed veggies. Both of our entrees were cooked to our liking and went down easily with a couple of brewskis. The service was outstanding this evening as were our dinners. The Butchery serves as a nice carnivorous option in this Polish city center.
