This place was recommended to me by a friend, thus I decided to check it. What I like about it is the service — everything was really smooth and even with house almost full, you didn’t have to wait long hours. As the place is famous for pizza I decided to take one — since I wanted to try 2 different types I had to take big one — 30 cm, which really made me feel full and it was hardly possible to eat it — even before I was starving — no lunch on that day. I decided to take half Pizza Szefa 1 and half Carpaccio. Most of the ingredients were cold put on pizza after taking out from the oven and to be honest this is not my style and I it really killed the taste for me. Moreover the egg was cooked and altogether I felt more like I’m eating a salad on warm dough or sth like that but for sure not that I’m eating pizza. Even though dough itself and tomato sauce were ok. To sum up — place was crowded so seems popular, quality of ingredients ok but I suggest checking what will be baked together and what will come cold on top of your pizza, before ordering your meal.

Italian restaurant with Italian chef — sounds good for the start. Then there’s the menu — a bit too long, with endless list of pizzas and pastas. The pizza was good, but a little overloaded with toppings, I’d prefer less of them. Dough was good, but nothing to die for. I will try more things like pastas and will update the review. Best place in town for Italian food — decent, but there’s room for improvement.
