Another place I’ve been going to for years. Serves the best bacalhau and cold vinho verde. Next to the féria and if you happen to go on a Thursday, it might be a good idea to go early. It fills up with locals and(fortunately) not too many loud tourists. Good prices — think twice before you order a full serving — try a meia dose of any of the main dishes if you’re the only one eating it. Friendly service, good quality cuisine prepared in the most Portuguese manner. I usually order the cod Muralha style because it is the house specialty and in Portugal that usually means you’ll get the best on the menu. Caldo verde — also hard to go wrong with in Portugal — is recommended as well. Order a bottle of Loureiro — vinho verde branco, seco, from the Adega da Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima.(I prefer seco to adamado)
