Cute little wine and tapas bar with only a few tables. Nice selection of wines, but I thought the food was a bit hit and miss. We ordered a game sausage«bottle»(open sandwich served on a bottle shaped board), which was nice but not quite what we were expecting. The sausage was more like a cross between shredded chicken and pâté, but still tasted good! However, our order of potatoes was forgotten about. We also tried some sardines and some chorizo. I was a bit disappointed by the chorizo, although it looked quite cool(they basically set fire to a whole chorizo, and then served it whole once as the flames went out) it wasn’t as nice as we had in other places. I’d recommend coming here for a drink, the atmosphere is lovely and they have a good selection of wine. However, I thought the food was overpriced for what is was, and was not consistent.

Wow, what an experience. Rather than the typical tourist joints we had an amazing meal chaperoned by Pedro. We started out with a good salad but quickly moved to incredible dishes I had never heard of before. The calamari and the franceshina were unique and amazing.

Very good wines and perfect service. We were served by 2 guys which have an excellent wine taste serving us matching wines with the food. There is not many occasions in my live that it worked out that well. We had sardines, mackerel, octopus and cheese platter. All plates I can recomment.

Very cute restaurant off the main tourist strip in Lisbon. The waiter was very helpful and friendly and let us take our time when deciding between the many dishes. They have a variety of tapas to chose from including a a large selection of «bottles» meaning tapas style open faced sandwiches served on flattened wine bottles. In the end we chose a variety of plates including a meat and cheese«bottle», some sort of strange smoky sausage, the codfish, and the apple, honey and cheese open faced sandwich. The cheese from the meat and cheese plate was delicious and came with a very nice home made blackberry jam. The sausage was extremely interesting and unlike anything I have tasted before the texture was almost potatoey and it had a very sweet smoky taste. I have no clue what was in it. As for the codfish it was served raw, i think, and it was a bit strange. not what I had expected and not very special. My favorite dish was actually the apple, cheese and honey open faced sandwich. Something we had decided to order last minute when we saw it arrive at a neighboring table!

Bebedouro wine bar is a gem in a sea of otherwise touristy restaurants. We found Bebedouro late one night and decided to stop in for a glass of wine and an appetizer. Everything was so excellent we actually returned the next night for dinner. The host provided terrific service and was very knowledgeable about the wine list. Would absolutely return on our next holiday to Lisbon!

Got a great walk trough of the menu(and the Duoro district!) by the host, and he put together a nice combo of dishes, so good. Didn’t feel like rest of the tourist traps around here. And no pictures of the food on the menu Also, you get the food served on flat wine bottles ha

A small place on a downtown pedestrian way with great food and wine from the Douro region. It is really nice for some wine and a light lunch. Try it!
