First of all, we don’t have Burger King in Belgium so every time I see one I’m happy to go there and have something different than a McDo burger. Now specific on this BK: the service was awesome. This guy that took my order was so happy and nice you really get happy too: D. Since I don’t go to BK very often I took two burgers(which was too much :() and they were really good. I don’t know what other to say about this burger joint. It’s probably not as good as a normal hamburger joint(there are a lot of those in Lisbon!) but for a fastfood restaurant it’s about as good as it gets.

We got into Lisbon late on a Wednesday night, and there was NOTHING open for dinner. Thankfully, my bf had seen this BK on the way to our hotel and figured it was our only option for a late dinner after 11 pm. This is a rather large Burger King, and it looked pretty nice and modern. I decided to go for the kiddie meal so I could try a little bit of everything, but in smaller portions(and with fewer calories). They call the kiddie box Diverking, a name which I’ve never heard before. The meal came in a box that looked almost like a Micky D’s Happy Meal. I ordered a chicken nugget burger, because I’ve never heard about that before.(Always in the mood to try something new. :)) It was a teeny sandwich with about 3 – 4 nuggets in the middle. Along with a small salad and small bottle of water, it made for a tiny and not-so-satisfying meal. It didn’t help that the only dressing that was included was olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and even though I drenched my salad in them, I never find it as satisfying as a creamy dressing. BUT, the good thing about having a mini meal was that… I had room for dessert! I got a mini ice cream sundae with caramel sauce for only like a euro or so. Mmm… :)
