A must go to for anyone who’s Catholic. We came while visiting Portugal. We were staying in Lisbon and took the train from the Setes Rios(takes an hour and a half). We got in around 1130 and it was an easy walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the basilica was closed, but we were able to see the tombs of the young lambs, dedicate some candles and say part of the rosary(as it started at noon in the common area). Definitely something to see if in Portugal.

A peaceful place, very good for contemplation. A must for every pilgrim at least once in a lifetime.

While visiting family in Portugal we made our usual pilgrimage to Fatima. Every time we visit this incredible sanctuary, we spend at least a few hours reflecting, praying, and paying respect to Our Lady of Fatima. This gorgeous sanctuary is a must see for anyone looking to strengthen their spirituality or for anyone interested in beautiful architecture. The grounds themselves are breathtaking and the surrounding town is a great tourist attraction. In the end, visiting Fatima is something that I will never forget and I look forward to visiting this sanctuary again in the future.
