A bit pricey portions are painfully small for the price but have good service and quality of food is excellent Un poco caro las porciones son exageradamente pequeñas para el precio pero tienen un buen servicio y la calidad de la comida es excelente

Generally I think the chicken is pretty good here and they have a good selection of chicken and sides. My only complaint is that they didn’t get my order right, giving me the legs and thighs versus the mixed chicken, which is particularly frustrating when you pay extra for the mixed. Nonetheless, pretty good tasting fried chicken.

I have to be honest… I measure the establishment by the crowd. Not always a fair assessment. Upon entering Pollo Campero(last resort after spending $$ @Walmart and already close to closing time) the posters with the combos were staggering as with all fast food establishments! Young lady at counter(la jefa) saw our confused faces and accommodated us. Burritos were NYCCHIPOTLE’S size super-stuffed. Free refills n Salsa bar was great(rec: add cheese n sour cream to menu) Memba I mentioned closing time? Well the Sweetest moment was when Campero staff reopened its doors to a fam with a young child whose face melted our WELLDONE!!! Will def revisit!!!

Nice logo, awful food portions, quality, flavor and pricing. Simply not the place you want to feed your family from. Cashiers wearing dirty and grease stained shirts. A bad odor emanates out of the building.

Walking into an almost deserted restaurant at noon is not a good omen, but this been the first Campero in Puerto Rico and located next to a major Wal-Mart store and a number of good food outlets gave me hope. The ambiance was attractive, bright, and clean — and the service cheery and enthusiastic. I always like to say something nice in my reviews and now that I have done that, I can say how awful the food was. My wife and I ordered their chicken specialty plates — mine fried, hers grilled — both overpriced and undersized. My overcooked fried chicken was flavored with a Guatemalan, not Mexican, seasoning that was bland and uninspired. The lukewarm«arroz campero»(rice) just continued the same lackluster flavor, and the«tortillas», had I eaten more than the first bite, would probably have blocked my digestive system for life. Drinks did not fare any better. I returned my iced tea when I was unable to ascertain the safety of an unusual and unpleasant taste, and my wife called her mango juice«sugar water» and would not drink it.
In an effort to end on a high note, the salsa bar with its simple«pico de gallo» and red and green hot sauces was much better than your average Mexican burrito grill. Except for that, this concept is totally incompatible with the local taste in seasonings and should quickly rethink their menu.
