Oh, I had the shrimp a year ago, and I still dream of it. Garlicky, buttery. Magnificent. If you’re anywhere in an hour’s radius, or have come to visit the coffee plantation, do eat here. The owners are kind and friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely.

Nice concept, food is ok, service quite well, but still some work is needed. We had the«criminal breast», which is the special of the house and started with some«sorullos» and the«bolitas pana con bacalao». Menu is quite limited and should turn to be more Puertorrican authentic instead having a «mexican breast». The hacienda style is nice but still some work is needed. Nice concept but still a work in progress.

Want a home cooked meal and experience the tastes of Puerto Rico, without breaking the bank? Then you are in luck when you come to La Fragua. You will be so happy you decided to stop by. The food is delicious and the service is equally great. You must try the churrasco, tender and delicious and the Pechuga Criminal is also fabulous. Great coffee in the heart of a coffee plantation, what an experience!

My two buddies and I were staying in Jayuya and wanted a good meal. Jim noticed the restaurant and kitchen and came to us saying, «This place looks GOOD!» So that night we came back. I have to say that it was the BEST meal of our trip and we ate some good food! We had three entrees and shared them. Churrasco, Pechuga Criminal, and another Pechuga dish with garlic. All three were superb! Finished off the meal with their Espresso Flan! Wow! It was a great night! If you are in Jayuya, go to La Fragua. If you are ANYWHERE in Puerto Rico, drive there and enjoy!!!

Excellent food in the Hacienda San Pedro. The Churrasco was juicy and tender. The«Pechuga Criminal» lived up to its name. It would be a crime not to try it. Finish your meal with a delicious coffee home grown in the Hacienda. One of the most spectacular meals we had in our trip. Highly recommended.
