History
Established in 2014.
Sage and Naomi Hobbs decided to open a brewpub in late 2012, after lamenting the lack of craft beer and local beer in Rincón. It took months to find the right spot. Once they secured their location on the town plaza in June 2013, they began renovating and obtaining permits– not a quick and easy process. Rincón Beer Company finally opened its doors on January 2, 2014 as a craft beer bar featuring 11 taps and many Puerto Rican microbrews.
RBC will soon feature its own beers made in-house. Join us in our quest to make RBC the best brewpub in Puerto Rico!
Meet the Business Owner
Sage and Naomi H.
Business Owner
Sage and Naomi Hobbs moved from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Rincón, Puerto Rico in 2011. In his previous life, Sage was a software developer. Naomi did a variety of things, including selling real estate and teaching preschool. Life in the tropics, however, called for a change. Having homebrewed for 10 years, Sage decided the time had come to take it up a notch. With lots of blood, sweat, tears, and the help of an amazingly supportive community, Rincón Beer Company was born!
