Eh. Overrated and overpriced. If you want to eat at BLT Steak why not just stay in NYC? There are so many authentic Puerto Rican restaurants in the area that dining here actually feels like a crime. Honestly, my favorite thing here is the postcard of the different cuts of meat. Spinach appetizer for $ 16? Not worth it. I’ve had quite a few Wagyu burgers and this one, for $ 31, has been my least favorite. Their price points across the menu are annoying if anything. Save your money, step outside of the Ritz, and try some real Puerto Rican food!

Popped in for Dinner Last Night and what a beautiful experience. Staying in PR is a switch coming from New York. When you walk in they welcome you & ask questions like are you celebrating any occasion tonight. We were sent some«Duck Liver» dip compliments of the chef Apparently. Considering I don’t eat much meat and enjoyed it that was interesting. Next they didn’t have the bottle of wine we chose so we were offered a more expensive one for the same price which was very nice of them. I ordered the Snapper and my boyfriend had gotten the filet mignon. AGAIN, I don’t eat much meat– He made me try the filet mignon and surprisingly enjoyed that also. the snapper with guac was out of this world. Taste was unbelievable! Seared to protection! We were Celebrating my birthday and they sent us a beautiful plate that said happy birthday on it with 5 amazing little expresso cookies on it And a expresso& coffee all on the house. Last but not least JULIAN-our server was so honest so nice, I am a server back home and that guy knew the exact times to come at the table just excellent service overall! I really enjoyed our Dinner experience at BLT deff recommend to dine at this restaurant! Beautiful Night Thank you again For the experience Julian! –Christina

Definitely lived up to & exceeded our expectations. Our reservation was pushed back due to slow guests ahead of us so we dined bar-side. What a great move that was as Philipe took exceptional care of us. Drinks were top notch. we had the old fashioned, dirty martini, & bloody mary. Wine was spoiled which they took back with no questions asked. Wagyu burger, perfect. Ceviche, perfect. Vegetable salad, perfect. Tomato salad, perfect. Overall experience overall, perfect.

Bad experience. The worst prime rib ever… Very disappointed for the Ritz standard. We got there at 6.30 and should just leave when the host told us that they are fully booked until 8.45 while there were only 2 tables occupied. However, we decided to eat at the bar. The appetizers were good(salad and soup), but our main course were not up to the Ritz standard. My husband ordered a prime rib($ 55) which they only had it in medium, he wanted a rare. It came well done and a very thin slide plus half of it was fat. Very disappointed!!! My order was a hanger steak($ 38). It was the toughest piece of meat I ever had. Very poor quality steak house. There is a Chilli restaurant near by, we thought we might get a better dinner there compared with what we just experience! Horrible!!! We got $ 55 off the bill but still cost us $ 120 for a(I don’t even want to pay for it) meal.

Amazing food! The popovers melted in our mouths — the waiter suggested butter with sea salt and oh my goodness!!! Delectable! Our wait staff was fantastic. Solimar and Eric were attentive and helpful. The roasted red tomatoes with Parmesan were a perfect side dish. The coconut bread pudding is to die for! The consistency is perfection and topped with rum ice cream is bliss! Our only complaint is the noise factor. It’s a loud restaurant with bad acoustics. People were shouting to hear one another and the music was loud near the kitchen. We asked to be re-seated and ended up in a secluded booth which was great.

We had dinner here today at the BLT and it was delicious. We had a burger, fries and Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. Loved the complimentary bread and the service. The waiter Carlos was amazing. All of the staff was professional and attentive. I usually try to stay away from chains when abroad but this was a hit. I want to try the New York restaurant when I return back home.

I had the most amazing date ever at this steak house. By far the best steak I’ve ever had. I usually opt for Ruth Chris or Morton’s which are both amazing btw. But BLT Steakhouse definitely became my favorite. My date ordered Lamb chops, which were so tender and juicy! I ordered at filet mignon medium well. My steak was so juicy, it melted in my mouth. For the sides we ordered jalapeño mashed potatoes and my goodness definite mouthgasm. Now for the drink, my date ordered off the menu, a Strawberry Nugget. It was the most refreshing drink ever. Not too sweet or too sour just perfect! The service was amazing! The waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The steak house is located inside the Ritz Carlton so my date and I went to the Casino and gambled a bit, very convenient! I will be back in February!

Excellent exceptional service provided by Christopher. Only complaint is prices. Extremely high for some food items like a glass of mascato for $ 18 that was quarter full. Also sides are like $ 11 for potatoes?

Our experience was great here. Came here for my birthday. Amazing service. It was a wonderful dining experience inside the Ritz Carlton hotel. My BF loved the popovers. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection.

I stopped in at BLT hoping to have the same quality of food that I had at their Honolulu location. It wasn’t the case. Although I will say that at the Honolulu location I ordered a pretty pricey steak and determined it was the best steak I ever had while on this trip I was in the mood for their $ 31 Wagyu burger. Yes I know that is ridiculous. I was expecting a gourmet burger and just ended the meal feeling meh about it. The highlight of the meal was the truffle oil mushrooms I ordered. The burger was just an average burger. Service was good. Food 3 stars.

Bad restaurant in bad hotel. Why did I choose this place when I know the BLT Steak in NYC is bad? (I actually know why… I got $ 100 food credit thru amex so I had to spend it, but I could have chosen Ocean bar and grill by the pool which is both better and offers PR food rather than generic continental american) Got their $ 50 prix fixe from 6pm to 7pm. Popovers are overly charred which makes them very bitter. Bacon is extremely salty. Any fish dish that’s not tuna or swordfish steak is doomed to fail because why would you ever put a tender fillet of fish over hard grill? Dessert is even more disappointing. Coconut bread pudding is soupy and rum ice cream overwhelmingly strange + strangely overwhelming. Service is amateur. We had two different waiters throughout the meal and it was hard to tell who we would be tipping. No remedy was offered when I barely touched the food and voiced the above complaints.

Probably the best-served meal I’ve ever had. The waitstaff came by every few minutes to check on us — but it wasn’t irksome or annoying. They were sweet and seemed genuinely concerned about our dining experience. They served popovers as a starter and they were crisp, light, warm, and salty — a great and surprising alternative to bread. We got the burger and the crab cake and it was so satiating. We left full and smiling.

I really enjoy BLT and this time I went on a Sunday with no reservation. It was full and I couldn’t get a table but I did get seated at the bar right away and they serve their full menu there as well. The service was pretty good, maybe not as prompt as a table but it’s better than the almost two hour wait that I would have had. I had the grilled bacon of course and also the potato skins as these are my two favorite dishes/entrees here. I also had one of their specials which was the Kansas City 22 oz steak. It was very delicious and they cooked it perfectly.

First — the popovers. They are to die for. The meal and the service was excellent. I have been to the New York location and the only difference was this place was well lit! Its a great place to take a customer or a date!

In short, not worth the money, but I wasn’t paying anyway. The Good: The beet salad was delicious(though I’ve never met a beet salad I didn’t like), the popovers are of course delicious, the service is great, and the complimentary cookies are appreciated. The Bad: Is the burger really worth $ 31? No. I’ve had better $ 10 burgers. It was also cooked unevenly, completely well done on one side and medium on the other. It was also too charred on the outside. To be fair regarding price, that $ 31 essentially includes fries(which are also nothing special), the popover, and a small dessert, but a master burger venue this is not.

I don’t often feel compelled to write reviews but the level of service we received from Yamuel tonight commands recognition. We made a reservation for 9:15 but headed over a bit early in hopes of a table being available. Around 8:50 we were led to a table in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen. The lights were dim with votive candles on each table and a romantic ambiance set the perfect scene for my fiancé’s birthday dinner. Just as we settled in, our waiter Yamuel introduced himself and an amouse bouche of chicken liver mousse with a thin layer of jelly was served with a handful of thin and crispy crostini. Yamuel then brought over the gruyère popovers… which were heaven. Light croissant-like puffs had a subtle cheese flavor and pillowy dough texture. Could’ve stopped there, honestly, and almost wish I did as I write this with a Thanksgiving-full belly. We decided to order the crab cake appetizer, 12oz filet and potato skins. Yamuel made fabulous recommendations and even though we didn’t think we wanted a sauce for the steak, he *knew* we’d love the red wine sauce. And we did. On a separate note, when you order an appetizer as an entrée at upscale restaurants, waiters occasionally judge you but I honestly did not have space in my stomach for a larger portion tonight. Yamuel never once made me feel uncomfortable about my order and even surprised us with a mixed mushroom side dish that was out of this world. The surprises did not stop there. After checking on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure everything was flawless(and it obviously was, under Yamuel’s pristine watch!), he asked us if, by chance, we like chocolate, strawberries and peanut butter. Yamuel laughed and said, «Just wondering!» with a smile… He then brought out three dishes: an oval plate with«Happy Birthday» written in chocolate script accompanied by two chocolate chip espresso cookies, fresh berries and chocolate. The other plates featured carrot cake with ginger ice cream –Yamuel’s fave — and a a peanut butter chocolate mousse with little crunchies and banana ice cream. Delish! Our experience really was perfect from beginning to end, and we can’t thank Yamuel enough for going above and beyond to make our night incredibly special, for treating us like family and for being the most thoughtful, personable and impressive waiter we’ve ever had the privilege of dining with. 5-star service from start to finish.

So they start you off with these wonderful light & airy popovers, accompanied by fresh butter & sea salt. We moved on to our delicious salad appetizers(described in the photo), which we shared. Then came the 22 oz bone in sirloin, cooked to perfection the way G-d intended it– seared on the outside & med-rare on the inside– yum. We shared that too. The 2 sides, which we also shared, were a jalapeño mash & mushrooms(see photos) & were very tasty as well. For dessert, the coconut cremeux was magnifique! Even the latte was fabulous. Our waiter, Mervin was extremely polite & professional. All in all, a perfect meal. We will DEFINITELY be back

A wonderful dining experience inside the Ritz Carlton hotel. Yes, of course it is pricey. Put that fact aside — and it was a very good meal. The servers are very attentive. We started with the complimentary popovers which are served with butter and sea salt. They are quite delicious and it is a good thing you only receive one. The biggest disappointment of the meal was the burger — which, for $ 16, deserved more than a slab of iceberg lettuce and a commonplace sesame seed bun. The steak was very good. But the crown jewel on the meal was the dessert — a passionfruit crêpe soufflé which had a crème burlee topping and the most airy consistency you could ever try. We came back on a second night just for that. And the waiter remembered us.
