This bar, a part of the Atlantic Beach Hotel is a total waste as well as a total joke of bar. First off, it’s only open on weekends. Second, the drinks are for crap. The only redeeming thing about it is that it is located on the beach and offers a beautiful beachfront view. Other than that, it’s a nothing, and if you think you might be able to find a parking spot nearby, you best forget about that.

I think this may actually be a gay bar, but who cares??? Because it is awesome! Great prices. No frills drinks. Beautiful view. We watched the sunset over the ocean while having gin and tonics. The scenery was beautiful. The bartender was nice. The blue lights are fun when the sun goes down. Only downside is they do not have food of any kind. Unilocal says they have food. Maybe they did in the past, but not anymore. So had to leave when we got hungry.

Sea View Beach Bar is the oceanfront bar for the Atlantic Beach Hotel. At night the blue lights shine on the hotel building, the bar and the palm trees, trying to entice tourists in by conveying an upscale Miami South Beach feel. Unfortunately it is not. Unlike Oceano next door, the hotel and bar are not upscale. The bar is worn and out-of-date. However, the prices are not upscale either. Happy hour is pretty cheap, but the drink I got was the worst I had on my trip. A rum ginger ale was about 95% ginger ale. We walked by Sea View daily(sometimes twice daily) for a week, and it always appeared somewhat empty. This was surprising because it fronts the gay section of Condado Beach, and historically this bar was the gathering place. No longer promoted as such, time(and the gays) marched on. We went back to much more fun cocktailing at Oceano. I guess you get what you pay for.

After being charged $ 5.50 for a single Medalla here, we walked to CVS and bought a six pack of Medalla for around the same price. Additionally, the bartender shortchanged us.

When looking for a place to have cocktails before or after dinner look no further. This gem sits right on the Condado strip near La Concha resort and next to Oceano restaurant. It is at the base of the Atlantic hotel… look for all the blue lights at the end of the street. This was a quaint place to relax with a delicious mojito while looking over the ocean. There are no drink menus, but the bartenders took care of us with ease making whatever we fancied. Awesome atmosphere on the beach! Would highly recommend if looking for that«beach bar».

Best Happy Hour after work! Love the frozen drinks! Friendly staff, Ivan and Nelson are great and tourist from all over the world pop in. One of my fave places to go have a few drinks while enjoying the ocean breeze and watch the sunset over the beach. Great location only 10 minutes from home and 25 minutes from work.

It’s a great spot for drinks. the mojitios are made from scratch and are well worth the wait. it’s a grown and sexy spot yet still has a relaxed feel… drinks are reasonably priced and the view of the beach can’t be beat

I hear the hotel is a dump but the view… The view is perfect! We enjoyed our drinks and the view but there was something slightly offputting about the atmosphere. Apparently it’s a gay bar which I’m obviously fine with but it seemed like the type of gay bar that married men in the closet go to on the down low — weird crowd. They don’t have a menu at the bar, so you better know what you want. Overall I would consider going back but would likely head elsewhere first.

The Sea View Beach Bar is attached to the Atlantic Beach Hotel. It’s off of a somewhat quiet dead end street and it overlooks the ocean. It’s actually a really nice location and a great bar. We were staying in Condado at the Coral Princess Inn about three blocks away and wandered over to this beach spot while cluelessly exploring the area. There weren’t too many people there and the atmosphere was super exclusive. I really liked that… listening the light music and watching the waves roll in… gosh, I need another vacation. Prices were fair and the food was OK. I had the blue cheese burger; it wasn’t bad but nothing to write home about. Great thing is the bar is open really late as is the entire kitchen. Overall, great spot. We’ll be back for sure.

Apparently a gay bar but It is a bar, and just because there is a higher gay population does not mean it is bad. You will find the prices during happy hour cheaper than other condado establishments and the view is one of a rare places in condado right on the beach. Gay or not, it is one of the more romantic bars in condado to bring a date. It does get breezy but overall the blue lights and the palm trees make it a great place for drinks to get to know someone. Tried the burger once, it wasnt bad and I remember is being reasonable but id have to try more.

I came here around 10pm looking for drinks and appetizers with 3 friends. Atmosphere and location is definitely a plus. Besides that, it sucked. Our waitress was a very kind woman so I will withhold her name. I just believe no one has ever told her she is terrible at her job. We ordered drinks and they arrived nearly 20 min later. Granted, this is not just her fault, the bartenders are slow also. Food came out in a timely manner and tasted good. So after ordering more drinks at the risk of waiting for another 20 min, we kindly asked for the check. Being that we spent a fair amount of $, when the bill arrived, I was thrilled. It was significantly lower than we had anticipated. Only to realize, this was not our bill! I then brought it to our servers attention. Oh did I mention, she brought me someone else’s credit card?! So after getting MY credit card and the correct bill, we went on our way. To say the service was extremely bad is an understatement. This place was dead on a Sunday night and the service was slow and made too many mistakes. Thank god I was not staying at their hotel, I can only imagine what that must be like! Note to management. Food quality and location is good, your service is killing you!

The view from this place is amazing. the best part is you can come right from the beach with your beach clothes on and have a drink and some food beach front. Drinks are weak and service is ok… but food is really good… I would go again. Perfect for those that are not staying in a beach front hotel.

My friends and I spent most of our time here for liquid meals. You can’t beat this happy hour($ 3.00 beers and $ 3.50 for mixed drinks! The staff is AMAZING shout out to Nelson, Ivan and Jose. If you visit them, you must ask them who the waitress is lol. I was that obnoxious one who didn’t know what he wanted, but they all gave great suggestions, and the drinks were fabulous! From what I heard, the Atlantic Beach Bar, did some remodeling, and I have to say its really nice there. If you like a few drinks on the beach with the most beautiful view, then this is the place for you. The food was good. I especially loved their fries. Like I siad, most of our time was on a liquid meal, so I can’t offer too much on the food.

I stopped in while on vaca in PR over the wknd for happy hour. I loved the lighting in this place as well as the fact that it sits literally on the beach! We knew this was a gay bar so we were looking forward to having a good tine. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed in the quality of men there. Everyone was over the age of 40 and I can’t really remember seeing anyone extremely attractive. Maybe we should have stopped by during the day? IDK. Nevertheless, we sat at the bar, ordered their signature Beef Sliders which were freaking AMAZING! Had a few cocktails and some champagne and called it night. If you’re looking for great food, great happy hour, and not so much eye candy. this is place.

FROZENDRINKHAPPYHOUR. 5 – 9PM on weekdays. $ 7.50 for 2 pina coladas(or daiquiri or margarita). There’s honestly not much better than sipping a deliciously cheap piña colada while overlooking the beach in Puerto Rico. Little did we know that the beach we would be overlooking is a gay beach. I love the gays, so no problem at all, but there was definitely some PDA happening on the sandy shore about 50 yards from us. And tan, speedo-clad men rubbing up on each other isn’t exactly the serene beach scene I was expecting when I sat down at the table with my mother. But cheap drinks at a bar right on the ocean is pretty spectacular regardless. The waiter was very friendly(and also very gay), and the clientele offered a mix of everyone on the age and sexuality spectrum. So come here for happy hour to sip your yummy frozen drink as you overlook the ocean lapping the shore. And a few guys lapping each other.

If this is a gay bar, well it could have fooled me. Its a hotel bar and restaurant with amazing views and a very cool, miami like set-up. Plenty of table space and a large bar. The mojitos were okay, not amazing, a bit watered down I think from too much ice. We stayed here for a few hours on a Sunday night and enjoyed the amazing views. This place back right up to the beach and even has a shower at the bottom of the stairs to rinse off before you come up for drinks or food. awesome addition. There were only a few other tourists when we arrived, but it started to get a little busier as the night went on. I don’t believe Sundays are a big night for them by any means. I would absolutely come back here, I wouldn’t mind trying the food, which I was told was very good, and much better than Oceano’s next doors.

Well, this was a hard one. It’s obviously a gay bar overlooking the gay beach which is always nice to see. However, the initial service was a little iffy. One group was being served at their table, so we sat down and waited… and waited, and waited. Finally decided to just go to the bar. The selection of alcohol wasn’t great as they didn’t have the whiskey I wanted but I decided to try their house sangria. I’d say it was ok at best. I did also ask if they had any specials and just got an odd look and a «no». I guess I expect more out of gay bars. Maybe a small drink menu or some unique specials. However, after a while there was a bartender changeout and as the new one came in he stopped and asked if we were doing ok and if there was anything else we needed. This, in addition to the nice view of the beach is what saved them from a two-star rating from me. Just to be clear, this is ONLY a review of the bar as I did not stay at the hotel.
