Local muy recomendado si te encuentras por el barrio gótico de Barcelona. Gran variedad en la carta y con muy buen servicio por parte del personal.

Restaurante pequeñito y acojedor, esta bien para ir una vez porque sus precios a mi personalmente me parecen bastante elevados, ya que hay otros locales alrededor que son mejores en cuanto a precio/​calidad.
Las hamburguesas con 4 patatas y ensaladas están a 10 € por unidad. Con una hamburguesa y ensalada compartidas y 2 copas de sangría salia a 31 € en total.
Sitio bonito y sobrevalorado.

Paseando por el barrio gótico, una amiga insistió en ir a tomar el brunch a este sitio en el que ya había estado y que gozaba de muy buenas críticas. Debo decir que después de haber probado en Madrid el brunch de El Carmencita, mis expectativas cuando oigo hablar de huevos benedictinos son muy altas.
El sitio está en una calle muy estrecha, típica del barrio, pero algo incómoda teniendo en cuenta que se forma una cola importante. Hay lista de espera, y esto es bueno saberlo porque si no, te arriesgas a esperar eternamente en vano si tu nombre no está en la lista, como le pasó a más de uno. Estuvimos 1 hora esperando para entrar cuando las expectativas habían sido de media, así que cuando entramos en aquel local tan cuqui con sofás, luz tenue y mesas demasiado juntas, mis expectativas sobre la comida habían aumentado considerablemente y esperaba que tanta espera hubiese merecido la pena. Pues qué quereis que os diga, en absoluto fue para tanto. Pedí unos huevos florentinos con espinacas servidas con patatas cocidas y ensalada; le faltaba sal a todo, y eché en falta que la salsa holandesa fuera algo más que una ínfima capa sobre los huevos, que por cierto, parecían de codorniz por su tamaño. Eso si, el coulant de chocolate, impresionante.
En definitiva, sitio bonito pero sobrevalorado que no merece una hora de espera.

After my friend has been speaking highly of this place for weeks, I finally had a chance to try its brunch. The line was 20 – 30 minutes long on a Sunday afternoon, but we avoided the line by choosing the bar seats.
I had a hard time making a decision because everything on the menu looks delicious! I ended up having a Monte Cristo Sandwich (french toast with melted cheese and ham with house style potatoes and blueberry jam on the side), and my friend had San Francisco Bagel (sun-​dried tomato, mozzarella, avocado and pesto with fries on the side). I was incredibly satisfied with the quality and the quantity of the food! The only disappointment was the Bleeding Bellini which the peach syrup was used instead of the actual peach purée.

Amazing place!!! Completamente encantada por el lugar. Comimos en la barra, la atención en barra excelente. Probamos los benedictinos y las tostadas francesas. Simplemente espectacular!

Came here with a few friends as we were on our way to dinner somewhere else, but far too early. We tried out some of their cocktails as we saw a great 2 for 1 cocktail special (definitely recommend!) and decided to share a ramen burger and fries.
The 2 for 1 cocktail deal (through Unilocal) was pretty great, though the cocktails were limited. I’d definitely recommend going there for drinks and a bite to eat, though. Their cajun fries were also phenomenal. The ramen burger was a bit of a let down– the ramen burger was pretty soft and chewy, and was a bit of a let down. Everything else was good and we weren’t really there with the goal to eat, so we had a good time. However, all of us agreed we wouldn’t eat their ramen burger again.
I’ll be going to Japan in a few months; I’m keen to see what a Japanese ramen burger is like and compare. Maybe we all just don’t like ramen burgers, who knows! Regardless, this place is perfect if you want affordable cocktails and fries.

Awesome little hidden spot! The huevos rancheros were life. The Refried beans were the best part of it. So rich in flavor ! Staff was nice and the décor of the place is so cute and inviting !

This was difficult to find. It’s down a small alley and there is a lot of construction going on. We got in there about 9:30am and just beat the lines to get a table without a wait. The food was fantastic. My wife had the bacon and egg benedict, which i regretted not ordering for myself, and I had the hamtastic. The eggs were fluffy and the omelette was loaded with mushrooms and cheese and ham. If you are in the gothic quarter and want a good breakfast, this was the best. The ambiance is great and the service was fast and efficient.

Good brunch but not the best in Barcelona. Sort of out of the way location compared to some of the other hotspots. Waiting staff was very nice and there was many English speakers in the restaurant.
However, the food was solid. We had the pancakes with banana and walnuts, Huevos rancheros and the BB burger. The burger was very tasty, the pancakes lacked a little «fluff» but the yogurt on the side was great.
Apparently the wait can be a little long sometimes (30-​ish minutes) so prepare for that but the service seemed quite quick.

I was there with three friends, though we had to wait in line for 25 min but at the end it was worth it.
Food is really good and you have a variety of different things. Juices are delicious and prices are totally affordable and staff are friendly and all speak english
I think it is one of the best places for a nice brunch on a Sunday with friends.

EVERY item that came out of this kitchen looks amazing!!! We ordered their eggs florentine and salmon benedict… and, I had their bloody mary. Soooo yummy! My stomach is super happy right now. I would give them a 5 stars, but their bar staff was not friendly! Our waitress was awesome though.

my husband and I stumbled upon this place through Unilocal,and we most definitely weren’t let down.
we split the Popeye’s Punch smoothie (spinach, orange, and something else) and then he had the Eggs Benedict– which he loved– while I highly enjoyed the huevos rancheros– SO SO good. we didn’t order any drinks but we will most definitely be back to try some cocktails as this awesome restaurant is about a 2 minute’s walk from our place.

I went their with family and got a delicious family size meal. The prices are reasonable and the service is great.
We had the full breskfast options which if had mid morning will last all day. Worth walking the lanes to find this place. Do it!

We came here for an early breakfast/​recovery brunch based on the recommendation from our host. I fell in love with the restaurant the moment we walked in! With comfy booth seating and eclectic décor, it’s easy to see why this place gets high ratings from fellow Unilocalers! True that the bistro caters to an American crowd, but the food was thoughtfully prepared to incorporate local flavors! It was such a great way to start off your day. Bonus, they purchase their produce from the famous Boqueria market daily!
FOOD: I had the Morning Glory which was French toast, yogurt and fruit. The toast was not as fluffy compared to what I’m used to but it was very delicious nevertheless. The creamy greek yogurt and fruit made this a healthy yet satisfying breakfast choice! My boyfriend really enjoyed the eggs benedict with his morning coffee!
SERVICE: since we arrived just after they opened at 9 am, our food came out in about 10 minutes or so. I loved our waiter’s British accent! He’s such a master barista preparing various caffeinated drinks beyond the bar.
Overall, we had a lovely breakfast here! The food was very tasty yet affordable for the quality. Highly recommend this bistro for breakfast/​bunch!

Food — ordered eggs Benedict and the Jackie hamburger — roasted potatoes as you would expect — crispy on the outside and very soft inside. Poached eggs cooked perfectly. You can taste the cheese in the auntie burger as well. Bloody Mary was exceptional. Definitely recommend.
Atmosphere — lots of tourists but very energetic and cozy space with ample room to eat. Great décor
Overall, a blend of American spanish flavours catered towards a more American style of breakfast food.
This is like a little nook of Barcelona connecting you a bit outside of its traditions.
The espresso was excellent too.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.
Auch wenn wir nichts gegessen haben sahen sowohl die Speisen als auch die anderen Getränke sehr sehr gut aus.

Oh man the food was so delicious and the service so friendly, I wish I could leave a raving, 5-​star review. But they forgot our order and we waited nearly 45 minutes for it. We were starving. They were super apologetic and offered a couple of free drinks while they quickly whipped it up, but still we had an overall disappointing time as we watched everyone else eat first. Maybe I could suggest reminding them if your order doesn’t come in 15 – 20 mins — they are fast, and it shouldn’t take that long! As soon as they realized our ticket was lost, they brought it out asap and we enjoyed it immensely. Waitstaff was nice. I’m repeating myself but it truly was a delicious meal and if I were rating it on the food alone I would not hesitate to go for 5 stars.

Cute casual spot that reminds us of home at a lesser price tag.
We came on Tuesday for lunch and it was busy.
The egg Benedict were just lovely.
Although it could use a bit more flavoring.
Husband choked down his salmon egg florentine in no time.
Overall a good little spot with prompt service and decent price.

We wanted a full American Breakfast, and this place opens at 9:00am, so it gets our business. Great cappuccino, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, bacon on those dishes were crisp and fatty, food comes out fast and hot. Just the right way to start a full day of touring. Great for kids.

After vacationing in Dublin and London we were desperate for some good food! We ended up at Milk twice during our stay, once for breakfast (Eggs Florentine and Salmon Eggs Benedict were great) and once for dinner (Super Super Salad — which is mostly grains — and Veggie Spring Rolls — which had a heavy curry flavor). Both times we left full and happy, servers are super friendly and atmosphere and music are relaxed.
Highly recommend!

Ubicado en pleno barrio gótico, en la c, Gignas se encuentra este local con decoración muy especial y grandes sofás con cojines. Elegido como uno de los 3 mejores Bar & Bistro de Barcelona (según Elle magazine). Tienen un carta variada aunque no muy extensa, yo estuve a la hora del brunch, y me pedí un Montecristo sándwich que viene con algo de ensalada y patatas y mí pareja, unos Huevos Rancheros. La verdad,…buenos, pero nada del otro mundo. Las camareras, eso si muy amables, pero aunque un poco estresadas, supongo la cantidad de gente que había en el local en su mayoría jóvenes guiris gritando y riendo (mucho ruido). Yo particularmente prefiero otros sitios más relajados donde además de disfrutar de la comida también disfruto de la compañía. Los precios no son nada económicos.

Me and my girlfriend went to this place because of all the great words about it here on Unilocal.We came with a pretty clear picture about the place; big brunch dishes with a decent price.
When we arrived at 10 am the personal greeted us with great genuine smiles and loads of energy. I took milks fry up and my girlfriend took the yoghurt with granola and fruit salad. We where hoping for big plates and we got REALLY big plates.
When we left at 11 am the place was very crowded.
Over and all this was our by far best breakfast/​brunch during our stay here in Barcelona.

Drunken prawns were the best we have ever had. The Vegetarian Antipasti platter, a vegetarian’s delight, Nachos with Mexican beans, a taste bud explosion. Wow! All topped with great service & in a brilliant ambience. BTW we had the chocolate desert & 2 coffees too! Our bill about € 63.

Aficionada a los brunches domingueros encontré este sitio, mi plato favorito los huevos benedict con salmón acompañados con una mimosita, después de haber probado los de The Park en NYC, estos serían los 2dos mejores que he probado. Me encanta lo recomiendo, la única pega el espacio tan reducido y los camareros van tan de prisa que te da la sensación que están deseando que acabes pronto para sentar a otros comensales. Intentaré volver pero definitivamente no un domingo.

Small and unassuming, but packs a punch with some great food! Not just for weekend brunch, during the week you can get their menú del día for under € 10, it includes a beverage (water, pop, mimosa), main course and either a coffee or smoothie.
The goat cheese, beet and bacon salad is divine and so is the spinach and banana smoothie!

Sabéis el típico día que quedáis con amigos un domingo por la mañana y alguien propone un brunch y otro comenta que conoce un local que los hacen maravillosamente bien y que prueba de ello es que va mucho turista? Pues éste es el sitio. Una decoración que me ha encantado, tanto como sus brunch (aunque tienen una carta más amplia). Yo me pedí un Eggs Florentine (con espinacas, huevos, pan, salsa holandesa) que estaba sensacional, y el resto un brunch con salmón. Pedazo de platos, en serio. De bebida me decanté por un brebaje verde (jejeje vaaaaale, en realidad un smoothie con naranja, plátano y espinacas) buenísimo!
El local es pequeño y estaba a tope, pero con un buen ambiente y buen rollo que se captaba. Repetiré, seguro :-)
[Català] Sabeu el típic dia que quedeu amb amics un diumenge al matí i algú proposa un brunch i un altre comenta que coneix un local que els fan meravellosament bé i que prova d’això és que va molt turista? Doncs aquest és el lloc. Una decoració que m’ha encantat, tant com els seus seves brunch (encara que tenen una carta més àmplia). Jo em vaig demanar un clàssic eggs Florentine (amb espinacs, ous, pa, salsa holandesa) que estava sensacional, i la resta un brunch amb salmó. Tros de plats, de debò. De beguda em vaig decantar per un «brebaje» verd (jejeje vaaaaale, en realitat un smoothie amb taronja, plàtan i espinacs) boníssim!
El local és petit i estava de gom a gom, però amb un bon ambient i bon rotllo que es captava. Repetiré, segur :-)

A solid brunch spot, but be prepared for a wait if you show up on Sunday morning anytime after 10am.
The menu is mostly standard American brunch fare, which is great if you’re in the mood for omelettes, pancakes or Benedicts, but it wouldn’t be significant if it were anywhere in the states.
In particular, they have excellent fried potatoes, and the condiments trays all have Sriracha, which is much needed for all us addicts out there!

Leckere Burger, feine Cocktails und das alles in einem netten Ambiente. Frühstück soll auch sehr gut sein, haben wir aber noch nicht ausprobiert.

Un breakfast excellent dans un endroit sympa et branché. On est accueillis par une jeune serveuse au look gentiment punk, par contre né pas trop commander d’un coup car les portions sont plus que généreuses. Un coup de cœur pour les pancakes!

Super brunchs, personnel agréable, service rapide et assiettes généreuses. Et pour couronner le tout, c’est pas cher ! Excellente adresse que je recommande.

Preis:
Das Preisniveau würde ich als günstig einstufen. Wir haben für zwei Personen mit Frühstücksgericht und insgesamt 3 Getränken und Trinkgeld weniger als 25 € bezahlt.
Service:
Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Kleidungsstil geht in Richtung rockabilly ist aber angenehm.
Essen und Trinken:
Wir hatten beide Male das Müsli mit Früchten und Müsli sowie die Pfannkuchen mit Sirup. Beises war sehr lecker. Wer keinen Sirup mag sollte die Finger von den Pfannkuchen lassen, denn die schwimmen im Sirup. Mir hat es gefallen!
Dazu gab es Tee und Kaffee und Tee. Der Tee war von Lipton und der Kaffee war auch nur Kaffee aber die Art des Service hat überzeugt. Das Teewasser kam in einem extra Kännchen damit es heiß blieb und das hat uns gefallen.
Ambiente:
Das Milk ist sehr liebevoll einberichtet. Hier versteht jemand sein Handwerk! Der Stil ist etwas 60er und international ausgerichtet. Die Lage am Rande des Barri Gothic und nahe dem Hafen ist optimal als Startpunkt für Tagestouren in alle Richtungen.
Fazit:
Wer in Barcelona ist muss hier frühstücken!

Echaba de menos los buenos Brunch de Estados Unidos hasta que encontré el Milk. Los mejores Eggs Benedict de toda Barcelona y unos pancakes con maple ! syrup que son irresistibles.
La verdad es que me gustaría poder opinar más sobre la carta… pero siempre cojo estos dos platos porque sencillamente me encantan.
Algo caro por lo que es Barcelona y su nivel de vida… pero no tenemos que olvidar que el Brunch está enfocado a turistas (otro nivel). Para pegarse un buen desayuno un par de veces al mes… vale mucho la pena!

¡Gran descubrimiento! No conocía para nada el milk pero por lo bien que había oído hablar más las opiniones en Unilocal nos decidimos a ir. Al llegar había cola y nos echó un poco para atrás, pero fue bastante rápida y no esperamos más de 10 minutos.
Tomamos un brunch y estaba delicioso! Yo me pedí uno con salmón que llevaba huevos benedictinos encima de dos tostadas, salmón y salsa holandesa. Para acompañar llevaba unas patatas a la plancha. Me sorprendió lo de que fueran a la plancha pero estaban bien ricas.
De postre tomamos un pancake con sirope de arce (me sonó a peli total lo del sirope de arce) y arándanos. ¡Estaba tan bueno!
Nos encantó la decoración de local, la rapidez en servirnos y las camareras tan amables. ¡Repetiré fijo!

Me encanta venir a aquí. Es un buen sitio para tomarse unas cervezas o unos cócteles. El mejor del lugar es el ¨cucaracha¨pega fuerte pero está bueniiiisimo. También es buena opción para ir a hacer el brunch del fin de semana o cenar cualquier día. Tienen dos cartas: una para el brunch y la otra para la tarde noche. Las hamburguesas están más que bien, muy bien presentadas, buena carne y vienen con las patatas incluidas. También hay opción para los vegetarianos como por ejemplo deliciosas ensaladas, pasta… Últimamente siempre me pido el pastel de patata con salmón ahumado! wow wow wow delicioso.

Uau! esto es lo que yo llamo un lugar con encanto, donde encima podrás probar uno de los mejores brunch de toda Barcelona. La decoración es una auténtica monada, con sofás y cojines hechos a mano y con una iluminación muy agradable que crea una atmósfera acogedora. Yo me pedí un clásico: huevos benedictinos con dos torradas de pan, beicon y patatas con una salsa holandesa (es como una especie de salsa de mantequilla), ¡buenísimo! Un forma energética y deliciosa de comenzar el día. Mi acompañante se pidió unos huevos florentinos que hacían buena pinta también, aunque no los llegué a probar. Los dos platos con un par de cervezas por persona costó unos 30 euros, y considero que el precio es correcto para la calidad y cantidad que sirven. Los chicos de servicio muy majos también.
Por cierto, ojo que los fines de semana no reservan para el brunch y el local no es muy grande.

Soy más de caña que cóctel pero me gusta el cóctel. Me gusta tomarlo en varios sitios y aunque el Milk no es mi preferido, a menudo me encuentro sentada en su cómodo sofá llevada por la inercia de buscar un sitio agradable donde poder hablar. Ya sea en grupo o en pareja ;-) ¿Y qué lo hace un sitio agradable? Pues supongo que su decoración. Aparte de los sofás, hechos a mano, destacan sus marcos laminados en oro, las lámparas de araña y un papel pintado en las paredes obra de la diseñadora de los 50 Florence Broadhurst.
El sitio está regentado por una pareja irlandesa y su clientela es mayoritariamente extranjera. Respecto a la comida, ofrece una sencilla y no muy extensa pero variada carta y, esto sí, un brunch en condiciones los jueves, viernes y fines de semana, de 11a.m. a 4p.m.
Sea como sea… Lo cierto es que no voy al Milk por su comida, por su bebida, ni por los precios, algo caros en mi opinión. Voy al Milk porque está en mi barrio, porque sé que estaré bien y porque, sin saber por qué, a veces nos hacemos nuestros sitios sin saber por qué.
