By far the best breakfast situation in San Sebastian. You won’t find anything hot other than toast, so if you need eggs, better go find something else.
But for coffee, pastries, toast (croissant or bread of your choice), etc, it can’t be beat. They have gorgeous pastries and decent coffee, a beautiful setting and a great terrace looking at the park. Even in the height of the season, I didn’t have trouble getting a seat for breakfast.

Sencillamente es genial y ellas son geniales. Esa es la conclusión a la que llegué tras pasar varios ratos en la cafeteríà la semana pasada, viendo que había temporal y que por la calle más bien poco, me apalanque en esta cómoda cafetería para tomar café, leer y descubrir sitios nuevos.
Tienen un buen pan, un buen café y unos merlitones que son los mejores que he probado. Sin duda me gustó el sitio, si viviera en Donosti seguro que la frecuentaba asiduamente.

What an amazing little find!
My husband and I are on our honeymoon in San Sebastian and we kept passing by this bakery on the corner of the street nearby where we are staying. We kept calling it the «original Panera Bread» because it is chock-​full of scrumptious looking baked goods.
Yesterday morning we walked in and had some coffee and a couple pastries: one with jam and cranberries and another with some sort of unsweetened cheese filling. They were both cooked perfectly and had a great crunch and crumble. The cappuccino and espresso we each got were made to perfection, as with almost every café we’ve been to in San Sebastian and Barcelona — so definitely no disappointment there.
All this for only 4,60 € what a steal! Can’t believe this place isn’t on Unilocal yet! Definitely go look for it, it seems like a local treasure!
