Great service, clean rooms, free water bottles and pepsi bottles

Nice and clean, lovely hotel, and can’t beat the location ! Right in the heart of the gran via activity, but with an entrance off a pedestrian plaza. As long as you don’t mind the night noises coming from the crowds and street merchants, you’ll love this hotel.

for existing. Hotel Senator Gran Via was in the top 50 hotels to stay at in Madrid (out of like 2,000) and it was right in our price range. I read the reviews and booked the hotel immediately early on and by paying up front we were able to save 15% off the entire hotel stay.
Senator Gran Via is in the heart of the city and within walking distance to just about everything you want to see on a four day trip into the city. The taxi from the airport wasn’t more than $ 30 and arriving at the hotel they checked us in quickly, gave us a map, said the pool was open upstairs, and showed us the way to our awesome room. We had just come from a cool hotel in Barcelona (Hotel Curious) and we paid almost the same rate there to stay in a room as big as a closet. At Senator we had two full rooms, two balconies with amazing views, and a huge bathroom. All for their «cheapest» room.
We were intrigued by the «pool upstairs» and when we got to the top of the hotel we were greeted by the most beautiful panoramic 360 degree view of Madrid. Even better? An inground roof top pool with no one around and clear glass for walls around the pool. Heaven. We ended up here for all of our siestas.
The interior of the hotel is really cool and offers a ton of light from the half ceiling of skylights. Little fountains surrounded the stairs and a small pond rested at the bottom of the hotel. Again, just a really cool looking and elegant hotel.
We never ate at the hotel but found that all the restaurants around were great. Oh and the Dunkin Donuts right down the street has the best bacon egg and cheese on a bagel that you could ever find at ANY Dunkin.
The hotel staff didn’t go out of their way for us but they didn’t have to. We paid so little for all that we got that I would come back in a heartbeat and recommend Senator Gran Via for anyone looking to stay in Madrid… not just on a budget.

Respecto a este hotel, quiero reseñar su spa, un completo espacio dedicado al relax y al ensimismamiento de las personas que allí se reunen.
Lo mejor, que se encuentra en pleno centro de Madrid y que tiene interesantes ofertas como su 2×1 los miércoles durante todo el día.
Lo peor, que justamente como consecuencia de sus ventajas, está bastante saturado de gente (De hecho hay que llamar para reservar)
Por lo demás, cuenta con zonas que nunca había visto antes (como piscinas con naranjas flotantes, agua vaporizada, etc.) grandes jacuzzis, sesiones naturistas… Y un toque un poco gay.
Un spa desde luego diferente a los demás!

Yo también conozco el spa de este hotel, gracias a un bono de una pagina de cupones promocionales, y la verdad es que nos hicieron muy buen precio y el trato fue de lo mas amable.
La piscina con los pomelos flotantes es todo un descojone, pues se supone que es relajante, pero al final con la coña acabas tirándote pomelos con quien te acompañe. La risa en serio.
Luego tiene lo típico de un spa, que parece que se quedan un poco con nosotros con eso de los chorros y de las piscinas de diferentes temperaturas.
Pues tu te metes allí en una ducha que tenga los chorros estropeados y te salgan por todos lados y ni te vas a dar cuenta de si eso es la relajante, la estimulante o la lo que sea… Vamos que se puede pasar estropeada siglos y nadie se daría cuenta.

No tengo el gusto de conocer las habitaciones de este hotel, más que nada porque cuando veo tanta estrellita me da cosilla preguntar el precio.
Lo que si conozco es la sala de reuniones de este hotel, ya que tuve que acompañar a uno de mis jefes a una conferencia que daba y la realizó en este hotel que es donde estaban alojados sus colegas estadounidenses.
La sala cuenta con todo tipo de tecnologías para poder hacer un reunión en condiciones.
Me quedaré con ganas de probar las habitaciones.
