I stayed in the park behind the smallish hotel which was very peaceful and everything looked very nice, including the scenery of mountains, olive groves and the Antequera ‘Indian’ Head Rock easily in view. The indoor and outdoor pools are good with the pool bar being quite expensive, but the hotel food is quite good for the money. As the place is in the middle of nowhere it is very peaceful, especially at night, but it’s a 20 minute walk in the baking sun to Mollina, the closest and very small and quiet town, a 10 minute drive to Antequera, a more lively and extremely nice looking town with everything you need including a shopping centre and about 45 minute drive to the south coast. If you havnt got a car then you will be spending a fortune on taxi fares to get anywhere, but its a very nice remote place in the mountains to stay.
