8 of us went for a big lunch, so we had the opportunity to try a lot of dishes. It was some of the best seafood I had in Spain, an incredible view of the sea, some very nice servers, and an outstanding selection of white wines. Everything was great, but here are some of my favorites: Cod Fritters — these were NOT croquetas. They were delicious fritters with a good deal of cod and an excellent balanced flavor. We reordered at least a second round. Sardines — I had some in Llafranc the day before and they were not nearly as good, nor as generous a portion. Loved these, as did everyone… once I filleted them for the whole group. Big rings of calamari — we actually had 4 kinds of calamari I think… baby ones, small ones, and big yellow rings that looked like onion rings, which were my favorite. Unbelievably tender and flavorful. A couple of people ordered some salads, which were very nice, including on with just tomatoes, which was a special order, and the restaurant didn’t seem to have any issue making it for us. They had several bottles of Rueda which were great, and very well priced. I wished I had the opportunity to try more of their wines because some of the other ones looked great too. When I am next in the area, I will eat at this restaurant as many times as possible.
