Canela is cool because it’s in the Cañadío square.
They have ample outdoor seating on the weekends, which is perfect for those 3 months out of the year when Santander is warm enough to stand outside. To be fair, the weather has been good this year ;-) .
Canela has reasonable wine prices. Expect a glass of Rioja to set you back 1.60.
It’s main draw is the atmosphere and people watching on the square.

Uno de los Pubs situados en el Epicentro de la zona de copas de Santander, la plaza cañadio.
Como todos los bares de la zona dispone de un mínimo espacio, y la gracia consiste en pedirte la copa y salir a tomarla a la plaza, sobretodo en verano.
Los dias de frio en invierno está desierto.
