We had a brunch here on our way to the train station. The food was delicious, I had a brunch with tea, which was really economical and good quality for the cost. Another had a sandwich and cake, which were both delicious.
The ambiance is lovely, with enormous windows letting light pour in. Would definitely go back!

Eine schöné Konditorei. Beim Eintritt fallen einen auch schon regelrecht die Leckereien ins Auge. Eine Semla hatte ich an dem Tag schon, deswegen entschied ich mich für ein Kycklingsmörgås (Vollkornbrot, Hühnchen, Bacon und diverser Salat), das herrlich entzückend eingepackt war. Allein deshalb würde ich da wieder hingehen. Ein weiterer Aspekt war der wirklich gute Geschmack des Sandwiches!
Übrigens hatten wir auch hier Glück gehabt, einen gerade frei werdenden Tisch zu ergattern. Die Atmosphäre im Brogyllen ist angenehm, die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich.

A extremely busy place with locals and visitors to Göteborg fighting for places to sit! The food is ok, some different and delicious sandwhiches and all seems freshly made! The staff were extremely over worked and stressed but all were very pretty people :-)
Try their amazing treats and deserts as they have so many to choose from, but be prepared to have to go train afterwards! Lucky Göteborg is a fantastic place to run! Try Slottskogen!!!

Our favorite place for breakfast in Gotenburg. Food and service are amazing. Enjoyed watching the bustle of morning life in the city while quietly drinking coffee with my wife.

This place is nicely situated by the canal but the traffic is a bit heavy (trams and buses).
The breakfast is good. Bread+croissant, hot beverage, juice, boiled egg («kaviar» for those who crave), some fruit and yoghurt. The yoghurt is a bit small and served without granola.
Edit: I revisited for breakfast and must revise my rating by one star!
