Jensen’s Böfhus

The food was ok, the prices also. But while we sat at the table and asked for desert, we were told that the kitchen is closed. This is, without further warning, rather bad service.

When we were in Malmö last November and wanted to eat here (we haven’t booked a table and the restaurant was crowded), we were told to come back in about 70 minutes. Our hunger was too big back then, so we went some place else.
This time we went there again. The weather was nice and we could sit outdoors in the pedestrian zone. We’ve ordered the Whiskeybiff, ta-​själv-​saladsbüffe with a baked potato and the 3-​rätters meny BBQ burgare (Nachos, Burger and a dessert of your choice).
The nachos were rather a huge portion, topped with lots of cheese and were nearly a main course (according to my filled belly!) :) The Whiskeybiff was medium (as ordered) and delicious as well as the sauce was. My other fellow traveller chose everything she wanted from the salad buffet and the baked potato was big, the sour cream could have been a bit more though. The burger was … I’m about to say «the best I’ve ever tried», ’cause simply I’ve never experienced such a good taste in a burger before. (My belly was full now, still one course to come!) ;) I went for the waffle with soft-​ice and strawberry jam. Well, I’m not much of a fan of a sugar-​coated waffle. They probably chose that sort, so that the melting ice cream wouldn’t make the waffle even softer.
The waitress was very nice, helpful and considerate. Saw what needed to be done and did it.
Only the music outside could be turned down a little. ;)
