Centralstation Hotell & Vandrarhem

(This review is only about the breakfast buffet, as it is the only thing that I have experience of at this place. Just so you know!)
The place is located in the centrum of Uppsala, just across the street from the Uppsala Central Station. Thus it will serve very well as accommodation if you come by train or by bus. Kind staff, a very nice atmosphere and a fresh interior.
The breakfast buffet is included in the hotel price, but if you are a hostel guest (or if you just randomly drop in from the street as I did, in because I wanted to have a little bit of a morning luxury) you can buy the buffet for 79kr. I think it was totally worth every «krona».
The buffet was very good; there were a large assortment of muesli and yoghurt, different types of bread, cheese, jam etc. Also boiled eggs and fresh fruits. And what was probably the best part: you could make your own Belgian-​style waffles! And of course add some nutella, peanut butter, whipped cream etc. to it. Yum!
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juice are included. In addition, they also offer gluten free breakfast. It’s the swedish way — no discrimination. The atmosphere was cosy and calm. They also have a shelf full of books if you like to read while enjoying your «frukost».
Very good breakfast buffet for a reasonable price at a good location!
