The place is very nicely decorated. Cool club feel. We showed up around 8 pm to get a post dinner cocktail. The drinks are very expensive and after sitting at a table for 20 minutes with no waiter ever taking our order we decided to bolt and find someplace that wanted to serve us.
Could be a cool place… if you can get service.

A three level penthouse club at the top of the Astoria hotel with in and outdoor seating. The bouncers, bar staff and coat staff are very friendly and professional and it was a good night. This is a great place for a night out with the girls. The music varied from Latin to hip hop and all in between. I found some of the mixes a bit odd as you’d just get into a song you like and they’d change it at the start of a song but it was fun, had a great atmosphere and ambiance and I’d go again. Good cocktails but avoid the Long Island ice tea!

This meal is definitely rated highly.
The vegetable soup was refreshing and reminded me of broccoli and cheese soup, but better. The bread itself was a very nice texture, soft and sweet.
The main meal was decent. It was a little lacking in flavor but turned out pretty good after adding the provided salt and Tabasco sauce.
The real topper of the meal for me was the ice cream grandissimo. It was sweet and creamy, just the right balance between creamy and icy.
The service was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Vale, cuando me llevaron a este sitio lo primero que pregunté fue… ¿me estás llevando a un local de streptease? Y es que en España hay una revista masculina con portadas sugerentes llamad así. XD ¡¡¡Para mi tranquilidad solo era un bar de copas la mar de chulo!!!
El local está situado en la parte más alta del edificio, se accede a través de un ascensor. Tiene varias zonas en distintas alturas, una de sofás, otra es una terraza, otra es una zona apta para eventos, etc. Tiene una decoración recargada, con lámparas de araña y estatuas. ¡¡¡La verdad es que merece verlo!!! Eso sí, las copas por uno ojo de la cara, una cerveza no baja de los 8 Francos y de ahí para arriba, llevable para un suizo, un lujo para un español. Aun así, si vas de turismo a la ciudad, te recomendaría acudir aunque sea para una copa a este local.

Going out with my girlfriends is always fun here at the Penthouse in Luzern.
Beside the good company this place is the perfect spot to dance the night aways. Comparing to Zurich clubs in Luzern don’t charge entry and drink are also a bit cheaper as well.
The club is in two floors on top of a building, so you got a nice ambience combines with great music and a nice view of the city.

Das Penthouse liegt im Hotel Astoria, welches vor einigen Jahren von den Star-​Architekten Herzog & de Meuron entworfen wurde. Der Eingang ist mit dem Hoteleingang kombiniert. Mit dem Fahrstuhl geht es in den obersten Stock. Auf zwei Stockwerken verteilt liegt die Bar. Afterwork mit leckeren Häppchen, im Sommer lädt die schöné Terrasse mit atemberaubenden Blick über Luzern zum Verweilen ein. Leckere Drinks, wenn auch nicht ganz günstig. Am Wochenende mit DJ. Alles sehr chic gehalten, tolles architektonisches Werk und absolut gepflegtes Ambiente. Einer meiner Lieblingsplätze in Luzern. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Das Penthouse in Luzern ist vielleicht eines der bekanntesten Lokalitäten in Luzern! Es ist auch seine Bekannheit wert! Die Räumlichkeiten erstrecken sich über 2 Etagen mit 3 Dachterrassen, letztere bieten ein Wahnsinnspanorama auf die Stadt Luzern + die Berge! An einer lauwarmen Sommernacht ist das echt ein Hingucker.
Die Musik ist abwechslungsreich und ist somit für jeden was dabei. Es ist ein Treffpunkt ein älteres Publikum, am Eingang wird am Wochenende strengstens geprüft, wem der Eintritt gewährt wird und wem nicht! Am Wochenende gibt es Live-DJ’s und da wird auch ordentlich getanzt und gefeiert.
Ansonsten kommt man unter der Woche easy da rein — gibt auch kleine Häppchen zum Afterwork-​Drink.
Eine tolle Location, bei der sich ein Besuch auf jeden Fall lohnt!

Preise sind sehr hoch und die Leute halten sich daher meistens auch für etwas vom Besseren.
Kein Ort für Party, sondern eher um mal an nem schönen Abend nach nem leckeren Essen noch was Trinken zu gehen.

Die Penthouse Roof Top Bar — ein Klassiker und schon fast ein Must in Luzern. Hoch oben im Hotel Montana, mit schönem Blick über die Stadt. Auf der einen Seite etwas moderner gestylt, auf der anderen Seite mit kleiner Terasse. Oft gute Musik! Im selben Haus das Pravda, Hotspot für Clubbing und Co.
