This is always our first stop once we arrive at the Zurich airport. Normally we will be picking up a Swiss Pass. If it is an international train, like a TGV to Paris even though we bought the tickets online we still need to pick up international tickets at a SNCF boutique or SBB shop since they do not accept self printed tickets. The price of TGV tickets is the same weather bought on the SNCF or SBB site and depends on how far in advance you purchase these tickets. Reserve 91 days in advance for the best price.
Never have waited more than five minutes and the associates are always knowledgeable and helpful. The location on the floor above the tracks is perfect and the ATM is right outside too. They will help with confirming phone calls to hotels and help organizing confirmations if ti’s not too busy. Great introduction to the SBB system and a positive way to start at trip. It’s best to do your research in advance so you have a good idea of what you want.
Look for the office off to the right and next door to the ticket windows.
