If i could give it 0 stars i would. The owners of this place are very rude and unprofessional. All aspects from the food to the prices and the service are dismal. I went with an italian friend living in zurich who had recommended to go to the restaurant. The starter drinks were good but from there it went all downhill. First of all, any restaurant that doesn’t give you menu with prices is out to cheat you. The appetizers(prosciutto e melone and a seafood salad), we ordered took a long time and were mediocre at best. Then we waited at least 40 minutes for our pasta(shrimp pasta and tomato and basil pasta) to arrive which was bland and tasteless. The kicker was when we ordered the dessert of Mascarpone and strawberries. Upon tasting it when it arrived, I was sure I was duped into getting regular whipped cream instead of mascarpone. I questioned the waiter and owner who assured me in their arrogant way, and in a condescending manner speaking only in italian to me at this point, that it was in fact only mascarpone and not whipped heavy cream. They even said, «go to the kitchen if you want, but that is mascarpone». Well, I’ve never turned down a challenge and so i went to the kitchen to ask the chef about the«mascarpone dessert». Turns out, the chef did acknowledge that there was a good amount of whipped cream in the dessert. I told the owner not to sell the dessert as he had and to make the customer aware that there is whipped cream in it to which he replied again in italian«i hope you never come back here». 200 francs for two people for a tasteless appetizer and pasta with wine is absurd. Do not go to this place. There are other better places in zurich with better food and service. These guys are crooks and unprofessional in their dealing with a customer who wanted to question their ingredients. I’ve never been treated this badly at any restaurant.

Unfortunately, the experience was bad in almost all aspects. + food tasted OK — very rude and unprofessional staff — first people were already finished with their main courses when the last ones were served — the third bottle of wine was opened and served without letting us taste — they filled up half full glasses with a new bottle that was not OK quality wise. when we complained, the waiter started arguing that the wine was good and we exaggerated Thanks but no thanks.

Preislich eher teuer.

Excellent décor. Very unique and stands out as its own place in Zurich. The people are very friendly and very excited about their menu. All pasta is made fresh. No creams or heavy butter. All natural, daily fresh ingredients. The guy even explained that his mom comes frequently to make fresh ravioli! There is a open fire oven where they grilled the bread. They also served a Sicilian bread as well. Really enjoyed that. Great new opening and would recommend to try.
