I enjoyed poking around the sculpture garden surrounding this mansion, but was surprised not to see more of a museum atmosphere. Turns out the building(and its art collection) are currently closed — the collection’s website( ) has some info. As to the grounds, it made for a pleasant leg-stretching stroll, with a bunch of 20th-century stone sculptures, a few abstract pieces, and sunlight-dappled leaves on the trees. Not enough there to make a big outing, but fun for a stroll if you find yourself in Bad Zurzach.
