History

Established in 2005.

V.I.B.E. Charters was established in 2005 and has built a loyal customer base over the past ten years. V.I.B.E. Charters was purchased in early 2015 by Jim Query with the intent of building on past success while bringing a new level of energy and professionalism to the business.

In 2012, Jim purchased a sailing catamaran, Being Nauti, that he based on Tortola, BVI and quickly became aware of the incredible sailing area made up of the US and British Virgin Islands. After one trip, Jim knew he had found the place he would make his home. It was no longer a vague goal of «The Caribbean». It was the Virgin Islands!

After many wonderful adventures in the Virgin Islands over the next few years, Jim was finally able to make the move to St Thomas, VI in 2015. While initially falling in love with the islands on a sailing catamaran, it became immediately apparent that a power catamaran was the way to truly explore the islands for a day trip. When the highly successful V.I.B.E. Charters business became available, Jim moved quickly to purchase the company, taking over management and captaining duties.

After years of cruising the Virgin Islands, Jim has an intimate knowledge of the area and loves to share his love of the water and the islands with our guests.
