The hot chocolate here is definitely a looker! But the place itself is a bit confused, I visited here just before christmas and it was busy. Most of the tables said reserved which caused confusion due to the wait staff saying find a table. The hot chocolate menu is definitely interesting, white, milk, dark, hot, marshmallows, whipped cream, caramel. I had a milk caramel hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream. The marshmallows were hidden on the whipped cream. The food menu was quite small. You can buy homemade chocolate as well as have chocolate moulding lessons!

Having heard about this place, we popped in for hot chocolate and truffles one afternoon. They make everything from scratch and the truffles were yummy. The hot chocolate stole the show though. It arrived as hot milk with cream on top with a layer of homemade melted chocolate at the bottom. Best hot chocolate ever!

Passing by Belmont Street the other day, I noticed the newly opened Cocoa Ooze café. So I thought of giving it a try. The café is based on the ground floor and it is quite spacious. On the top floor I believe there is a place where you can book children parties, and they can be amused by creating chocolate projects etc. My experience was not that great I must say. The place is being run by teenagers; something that you cannot say it is bad, unless of course if these teenagers are not mature at all and they only make small pranks in between them. And that was the case this last Sunday. I ordered a milkshake banana-chocolate and waited for it. Not long after one of the young boy waiters came to me with my milkshake in one hand, and the actual shaker(which was dripping by the way) on the other… hmmm…not a very good impression I would say… I sat there for an hour, and the place got busy, with people getting in to have a quick lunch and something to drink. I would say that it is an OK place to go but again it was lucking of that cosy feeling that cafeterias should have… Within the place they had chocolates for sale — that they reminded me of the chocolates that Hotel Chocolat is selling. So do not know what the connection might be there… if any.
