Really nice Pub for students. You can catch all the big soccer games and have some great tap bear or cider as well. The food is delicious. They also host special events like karaōke from time to time which is very nice. Free WiFi and free printing is especially nice if you’re a university student.

Student hangout. Decent student pub. Seems kind of spendy, but OK. Cheap and decent food.
No proper ales– just the taps on for show. Belhaven’s Best and a wide selection of lagers. Endless piss-​up specials (jello shots, shots, alcopops, etc).
When we were there they had run out of most of the menu, including buns, and just couldn’t deal. Sold four of us meals, delivered three, then refused to make a meal for the fourth person as the kitchen had closed (though did refund the meal, thank feck!)
All inall, all right. Probably a 3* pub as a matter of fact, but the service shot it down rather far.

Primarily a hangout for University of Aberdeen students, The Bobbin is an excellent student pub. Highly recommended for the university-​set.
