There really isn’t a better place to spend a lazy, rainy Saturday afternoon than sipping a beer in this bar’s dark interior.
It may be the best bar I have ever been too, and that’s a rather large sampling.

It’s incredible that such a small, unassuming bar can have such a massive impact on Altrincham. If this bar were a celebrity, it would definitely be in the A-​list.
There’s really nothing to fault. Over 3 floors, you HAVE to sit down (so I advise yo get there early). There’s always 5 beers on draught and around 100 beers in total, making it one of the best menus I have ever seen in my life. The staff are always happy despite how raucous and busy it gets in here, and the atmosphere is jovial. You can’t fail to have a good time.

This Belgian Beer bar La Trappiste is a brilliant place to enjoy a wide selection of unusual beers. The bars interior somehow actually gives off an air of being a monastic building, there are many little nooks crammed with pew like seating and tables. You can choose from over 100 different beers! there is always something new (and potent) to try! The fruity beers are my favorite though, and my boyfriend loves the vast selection of pale ales available. I would recommend to go to La Trappiste for group nights out, you will need to book a table though! be prepared to be dazzled and taken around the world in terms of liquid heaven!
