Excellent, very nice muesum with interesting facts. You were free to browse muesum on your own never felt rushed as its an unmaned muesum. Loved the old boats that were getting done up. Toilets are very clean and are new eco friendly ones. Staff are very warm and welcoming.

Like the sign says, «It’s bigger than you think!» But really, it is. You see this relatively unassuming building from the outside, and you figure there’s probably a couple piles of ropes and a few fishing nets in there, alongside some stuffed fish or buoys or whatever. But there’s WAY more than that. Step inside, make your way through the gift shop(crammed with postcards, magnets, and other locally-oriented tat) and past the tea room, cross the courtyard and then the magic begins. You’ll wander through several different rooms, each time you walk through a door you’ll wonder where the hell all that space came from. One giant room even has an entire sailing ship parked inside! Next time you’re up in the east neuk of Fife, make an effort to stop in Anstruther and hit up the Fisheries Museum. Its entertaining and informational, and very enlightening in regards to the local seagoing culture.
