Really pukka little café, not cheap though(well you are in Ascot), I had a lovely little fried bacon and scrambled egg, but they do eggs Benedict and other breakfast favourites. The place is clean and staff are all friendly and helpful too.

You really should eat here! I really should be selfish and keep this place to myself, but no one really Unilocal over here, so I might be safe. As an American, we have had a hard time finding breakfast places that don’t just serve the traditional English breakfast plate. We found this gem thanks to Unilocal and we love it. It is great for my kids with their own kid size silverware and drink cups. They have plenty of choices for them too. For me, I love it because the have a gluten free menu! Being gluten free is a challenge sometimes, so finding this place was a relief. Their food is always really good. Their service is a little slow, but I think it is because I am used to the quick pace of the American restaurants. Both the location in Ascot and the location in Sunningdale have very friendly staff who seem to really be happy to work there. The Sunningdale location is a little smaller which makes it a great little café experience. The one in Ascot is bigger and seems more easy going. I have to say that I enjoy both locations for different reasons. I will say that the manager at the Sunningdale location greeted us and was particularly friendly the first time we dined there, which made us feel right at home since we had just moved here. My kids order the pancakes just about every time we go there. I have had the gluten free French toast, Spicy Eggs and the Mediterranean brunch from the gluten free menu. I don’t eat bacon in the States, but I do here because it is so great! My husband has had the Mediterranean brunch, spicy eggs and the Benedict on the regular menu. He loves their coffee and their chai is good also. You cannot beat their fresh orange juice. It is worth the money. I am a huge fan of Fego! I would eat there every day if I could afford it.

Great food and service! We’ve often had trouble finding a place for breakfast when we’re on holiday around the UK that has plenty of vegetarian breakfast options and opens before 9:30 am as we don’t stay in B&Bs due to our large family and young children. We were happy to stumble across Fego in our searches and arrived at 8:30 when they opened. We were immediately welcomed by the staff. For a place that calls itself a «caffe», there was plenty of space, and it has a large and diverse menu. Despite the warning about custom orders in their menu, they were very accommodating when we wanted to split an order onto two plates and also ordered a plate of scrambled eggs despite it not being a separate menu item. The food came quickly, and everything we had was good. I had a café latte, and my wife had a Dark Chocolate Moka Cino — both were also very good. If we’re even back in Windsor for any meal, we’ll make sure we stop back here.
